self to some of its contents. There is
material there that might answer
questions you have about the Serra
Club that functions in support of semi-
narians and others seeking a religious
vocation. The unit is located against
the wall as you head toward the eleva-
tor off the church vestibule.

STEWARDSHIP ANNOUNCEMENTS Blessed are they who are what they are and do
what they do for the sake of the kingdom! The
Gospel today assures good stewards that their
suffering and their service on behalf of the King-
dom will be rewarded!
• Stewardship Thought: As Catholics, we are not
to focus only on ourselves but are called by our
baptism to reach out and share our time, talent
and treasure with our brothers and sisters.
SVDP: February 2—Presentation of the Lord
As Jesus is presented in the
Temple, we hear Simeon say to
Mary: “… your own soul shall be
pierced with a sword—so that the
thoughts of many hearts may be
laid bare.”
Your generosity enables the Soci-
ety of St. Vincent de Paul to bring hope to par-
ents whose hearts are burden with worries and
concerns. To find out how you can help our
neighbors in need, please call 833-1269 or go to
svdpminot.com.
VOCATION VIEWS The Presentation Of The Lord
Let your light shine and give God praise!
Hiding your light doesn’t serve anyone. Where
will you choose to “glow”! (Matthew 5:13-16)
WORD OF LIFE February 2nd

children as gifts from God, as Mary and Joseph
welcomed the Christ Child; We pray to the Lord:
