Exhibit positive character and influence on class/school, dignity, respect, trustworthiness, responsibility, caring, and citizenship. 3. No unexcused lates of any kind for the month. BOWLING The Monroe Falcons Special Olympics Bowlers had a great showing in the Central NJ

competition on January 23rd. Rebecca Reiser brought home a bronze medal. Matt Fannon and

Caitlin Belko brought home silver medals. Sarah Butler and RJ Edwards brought home gold medals!

RJ and Sarah advanced onto the NJ Sectional where RJ placed with a bronze medal and Sarah earned

a gold medal. Sarah will advance onto the State Championships on March 23rd. We are very proud of all of

our bowlers!

BASKETBALL The MTHS Unified Basketball team made history on Saturday, March 2nd by winning the first ever Unified B

Bracket NJSIAA state championship!

The team beat Old Bridge 37-29 to advance to the Semi-Finals where they beat Steinert HS 35-29.

Then they won over West Morris High School in the Championship 53-27.

NATIONAL ENGLISH HONOR SOCIETY On 2/28/19, members of the National English Honor Society went to Barclay Brook to read to K-2 students for Read Across America. Everyone had an amazing time!

Congratulations to Jordan Kaplan! He advanced to the Meet of Champions in the 800 meter run, where he placed 6th and broke his own school record with a time of 1:56.92!
