1. Forest Home Drive, Ongoing

• The City of Ithaca has closed the road from the intersection with Thurston and East to the Toboggan Lodge parking lot. Ongoing.

• A water main replacement project will impact pedestrian travel, May 3 – July 15, 2016.

2. Tower Road, June 13 – August 18, 2016

• Steam Vault repairs will require periodic lane closures between East Avenue and Garden Avenue. Barricades and/or flaggers in place to direct traffic around work zone.

3. Kite Hill Stabilization, June 12 – October 15, 2016

• Periodic lane closures on Campus Road between Wilson Lab and Bartels Hall to accommodate large trucks. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic as needed.

4. Pine Tree Road Closure, June 13 – August 18, 2016

• Pine Tree Road closed from Maple Avenue to Route 366. Local access to both the Fish Hatchery and the Print Shop will be maintained.

• The vehicle detour route will use Ellis Hollow Rd., Game Farm Rd., and Route 366 to bypass the construction. The detour map is posted at http://www.parking.cornell.edu.

• The East Ithaca Recreation Way will be closed in the area around project.

5. East Hill Pedestrian Crossing Improvements, Fall 2016

• Pine Tree Road. Barricades and/or flaggers in place to direct traffic around work zone.

6. Hoy Garage Paint Repair, June 13 – August 18, 2016

• This maintenance project to address scaling paint will require closure of levels four and five of the garage. Weekday access to this facility is limited to annual permit holders. Permit holders are being notified separately.

7. East Avenue/Campus Road Electric Duct Bank Replacement, Summer 2016

• Periodic lane closures on Campus Road and East Avenue for the duration of the project.

• Sage South parking lot will be closed to permit holders, dates to be announced. Only reserved and handicap-accessible spaces will remain open for parking. Permit holders are being notified separately.

• TCAT will relocate the Sage/Statler stops and detour around the work zone using Garden Avenue. For TCAT detour information, visit http://www.tcatbus.com.

8. South Aurora Street, Summer 2016

• City of Ithaca project to mill and pave South Aurora/Route 96B.

9. Seneca Street at the Tuning Fork, Summer 2016

• NYSEG Gas Main Extension

10. Dryden Road and College Avenue Intersection Closure, June 13 – August 1, 2016

• Utility work will force the closure of the intersection of Dryden Road and College Avenue. The work will start at the intersection, and proceed up Dryden Road to Linden Avenue.

• Dryden Road between College and Linden will be closed until November, 2016.

• Linden Avenue is slated for NYSEG gas main extension work.

• TCAT will detour using Campus Road and Stewart Avenue. For TCAT detour and bus stop information, visit http://www.tcatbus.com.

11. College Avenue Chilled Water Project, June 13 – August 12, 2016

• Lane closures on College Avenue occurring from the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts to Snee Hall, including the Stone Arch Bridge.

• Driveway to Thurston, Bard, and Kimble Halls reduced to one lane.

12. University Health Services, Ongoing – August 30, 2017

• Periodic lane closures on Campus Road; reduced speed limit 15 mph.

13. Lake Street Bridge Closed May 16 – October 3, 2016

Not Noted on Map:

• Tompkins Regional Airport Runway Resurfacing, July 8 – July 23, 2016. The runway will be closed; no departures or arrivals.

• Barton Hall Floor Project, June 13 – December 31, 2016. 13 parking spaces closed on the east side of Barton Hall. Permit holders are being notified separately. Pedestrians will be routed around the work zone. Expect periodic traffic disruptions on Garden Avenue.

• A Lot Resurfacing, Dates TBD. Partial closure of four parking bays. Permit holders are being notified separately.
