Newsletter October 2013 On Target Newsletter of Fencing NSW February 2013 supplementary NSWFA is gearing up for one of the biggest competitions of the year - the U9, U11 and U13 State Championships and Friendship Cup. The events kicks off with a camp at Marrickville PCYC on Friday 22 November, then the Friendship Cup teams competition on Saturday 23 November and the State Championships on Sunday 24 November. Young fencers are expected from NSW, all other States, New Zealand, Japan and Singapore. Online entries for the individual events are now open on the NSWFA website. Instead a Delegates Workshop will be attended by each State Delegate. Any motions arising from the workshop will then be put to a mail ballot. NSWFA members can view the agenda and papers for the Workshop should go the the AFF Portal where the meeting papers can be found under Documents. Please note the AFF’s request that these papers should not be circulated beyond the fencing community. go to page 2

NSW squad fencers triumph in Australian Cadet Championships

NSWFA is gearing up for one of the biggest competitions of the year - the U9, U11 and U13 State Championships and Friendship Cup. The events kicks off with a camp at Marrickville PCYC on Friday 22 November, then the Friendship Cup teams competition on Saturday 23 November and the State Championships on Sunday 24 November.

Young fencers are expected from NSW, all other States, New Zealand, Japan and Singapore.

2013 Norse Beach Sabre Championships

Competition Report:

Many thanks to all the fencers and families who came to the Norse Beach Sabre Championships on such a brilliant day.

We had nearly 60 entries overall from all around Sydney. Thanks to Manly Fencing Club, Marrickville Marauders, UTS,

Polish Australian, Sydney Sabre Centre, Southern Highlands and UNSW for attending.
