This was followed by Griplock, the ‘fixed knot’ fence renowned worldwide for being the strongest pre-fabricated farm fence available on the market. Griplock continues to replace the older ‘ring knot’ fences, capturing a steadily increasing market share. More recently there’s Fastlock, the new high performance fencing, featuring a new generation ‘square knot’ design for increased strength and safety. Now there’s FarmFence which supersedes the old ring-joint and hinged joint type fences by offering outstanding economy combined with high tensile, heavily galvanised construction, one-piece vertical wires and stronger, easier to handle joints.

Fastlock FencingSouthern Wire Fastlock fencing is probably the world’s best farm fence. With a revolutionary new “square” knot to lock high tensile vertical and horizontal wires securely together, this 100% heavy galvanised fencing will remain intact through the most difficult terrain, extreme temperatures and heavy stock impact. The “square” knot is a stronger, more compact version of the traditional ring-joint fences, which eliminates the annoying ring-ping and moving vertical wires that plague lesser fences. It also redefines the term ‘easy to use’, with its clean snag free rolls and the knot that can be simply removed with a snip from a pair of pliers. All Fastlock farm fences are Toughline specification, meaning they have 2.8mm top and bottom wires as standard. Be sure check out Fastlock before buying any other fence.

Fastlock Horse FenceSouthern Wire Fastlock Horse Fence uses closely spaced 2” and 4” openings to prevent horses from stepping through or climbing the fence and becoming tangled. The unique Fastlock “square” knot is strong enough to withstand animal impact, yet is smooth both sides, preventing damage to the animals coat and skin. All wires are heavy galvanised and high tensile for maximum durability. Used extensively on horse studs in both Australia and America, the Fastlock Horse Fence will provide you with the ultimate in security and protection for your livestock. It is available in four heights of 90cm, 120cm, 150cm and 180cm, all with the same secure 2” (5cm) by 4” (10cm) mesh.
