In-situ Sterilizable Glass Fermenters – The First in India
adept, as the name stands for, we offer you a

In line with the initiative of Government of India “MAKE IN INDIA”, we have taken a step to provide an innovative “insitu sterilizable design glass
bioreactors” to the world to reduce the risks and hassles faced by the currently used “autoclavable bioreactors”. We have taken care of the fact that Migration to this newly available design & technology may take a while and hence we offer the standard Autoclavable versions of bioreactors also. Apart from these we do offer Airlift fermentors to meet the customers
working with samples of high oxygen demand with no shear forces. The air-lift systems too are in-situ sterilizable to avoid carrying such large & heavy vessels to big autoclaves. With an experienced team of around 20 years in bioprocess industry, we proposed to have a much simple to use yet sophisticated bioreactor system which got materialized by 2011 (as the first prototype). After the introduction of this in-situ sterilizable glass bioreactors, Scientists get the advantage of risk free sterilization of their medium in the complete scale ranging from 3 Liter to 15 Liter working Volume Systems.
Complete Cultivation Units
We offer a complete plug and play type system with complete accessories for your cultivation needs.
The complete system includes the cultivation vessel, sensors, pumps, tubing and controller with data
logging software, spare part kits, chiller unit for temperature regulation and a suitable air
compressor unit for air supply to the bioreactor unit.

instance the vessel head plate is made of high quality 316L grade Stainless Steel, glass vessel

Maximum Flexibility
All the system provided by us is exceptionally flexible to accommodate every need of the
user, may it be having an exit gas O2/ CO2 analyzer or Methanol sensor or online viable
biomass monitoring system or online OD monitoring system or an external Solid State LED
based illumination system for phototrophic cultivation, we have solution for everything!
Data Acquisition
ON line data acquisition from fermentor for all the parameters like Temp, pH, DO, RPM
(Stirrer Speed) is stored in this unit and is directly visualized in computer real time with trend graph
of all parameter like temp, pH, DO, RPM vs time. Facility to review all old data is possible with few
clicks of the buttons. This Unit can be kept anywhere (max 200mts away) from fermentor via cable
and it has its own display unit (LCD) and continuously shows the condition of fermentor parameters.
The Data Logging facility is also available on a tablet and there is a possibility to interface it with your
GSM device for remote access to data, maybe on a cell phone (OPTION).
Out-of-box Design
Glass Insitu sterilizable bioreactors :- adept-i
The unique design of the fermentor system eliminates the need to moving the reactor to a
autoclave for sterilization. It has an inbuilt heating system which takes the vessel’s
temperature to 121 °C at a pressure of 15 psi ( Similar to the temperature and pressure
conditions inside an autoclave ). The parameters which can be measured and controlled
may be pH, DO, Temperature, agitation, level, pressure, foam etc ( as standard ).
Head & Bottom Plate
The head & bottom plates are made of high quality stainless steel available and designed to
accommodate a number of useful accessories without compromising the sterility. It has
numerous threaded ports to provide high degree of flexibility for sensors, sample tube etc
and provided with blind stoppers for unused ports.

Air lift Fermentor:- adept-ALF
ADEPT-ALF has the following Advantages:
Its Simple design with no moving parts or agitator accounts to less maintenance, less risk of handling
errors. The Airlift bioreactor doesn’t need the heating plate to control the temperature because the
Draught-Tube which is inside the bioreactor is designed to serve as internal heat exchanger.
