    Fertility is the actual bearing of children by a

    woman during her reproductive period .

    Fertility is one of the 3 demographic

    processes, others being Mortality and

    Migration. Increased fertility means increasing effect

    on population.

    And increased population means resource

    crunch (except manpower) and again

    myriads of problems.
