Oyster Bar Precinct featuring delicious oysters from the estuaries of Australia’s Oyster Coast which incorporates many of the oyster farmers operating across the Shoalhaven and Crookhaven Rivers, Clyde River, Tuross Lake, Wagonga Inlet, Wapengo Lake, Merimbula Lake, Pambula Lake, and Wonboyn Lake.
Taste the difference and meet the oyster farmers who are among the most environmentally aware in the world and committed to producing the world’s best oysters.
The Lighthouse Surgery Kids Zone – it’s free! A special area for kids with activities like Milo the Clown, Blacksmith display, Giant slide and jumping castle, IMB’s The Great Mandini Magic Show, ActewAGL’s face painting and inflatable sports game, vintage machinery and much more.
Narooma Plaza – Gourmet Food Precinct The best food stalls the region can offer includes: natural oysters & prawns, oyster shots (non alcoholic), gourmet fish & chips, pizza cooked in a clay oven, sausages from locally grown beef, traditional tandoori chicken, BBQ roast beef rolls from the local butcher, Turkish pastry, kebabs, Spanish style food, local cafes with their own specialties, home made ice cream, Dutch pancakes, coffee from local roasters, spices, sauces, jams, chutneys, confectionary, fresh roasted nuts, and the list goes on…
Faces of Australia’s Oyster Coast – a photographic exhibition by Heide Smith Internationally renowned photographer Heide Smith brings us the faces behind Australia’s Oyster Coast – the growers and their families which span across many generations.
Heide’s new exhibition was recently launched at Parliament House in Canberra. Visitors to the Narooma Oyster Festival will be the first to see this sensational collection.
Plaza Cellars Beer and Wine Bar Over 15 different beers and wines to choose from including the Cascade craft beer range from Carlton United Breweries and an extensive wine range from Treasury Wines Estates – includes free wine tasting all day!
UOB Oasis Lounge Bar Swing by this island themed licensed lounge bar serving cocktails, fresh oysters, prawns and bites – complete with resident DJ.
Michaels at Dalmeny Michael Stokes and his team are back by popular demand serving their mouth watering local seafood dishes with their unique and relaxed South Coast style.
Aboriginal Arts and Culture The Festival will be officially opened at 10.45am with a Welcome to Country and Gulaga Dancers. The Gulaga Dancers from Wallaga Lake will open the Festival and perform Yuin dance and ceremony using traditional clap sticks and didgeridoo. The Gulaga Dancers troupe consists of members of the Yuin nation.
The Bidinga Aboriginal Arts Marquee features paintings, sculpture and crafts from the best Aboriginal artists in the region. Co-ordinated by well known indigenous artist Cheryl Davison.

Back by popular demand is the Fishing Line Casting Competition, Traditional Boat Display, Buskers, Wagonga Inlet Oyster Tours, the eclectic Quarterdeck Restaurant and lots more.
Australia’s Oyster Coast Festival Dinner - 7.00pm for 7.30pm at Narooma Golf Club
You will be welcomed by the team from ‘Oysters Unplugged’ – mobile oyster shuckers freshly opening oysters for you on arrival.
This is followed by a sensational three course meal prepared by Narooma’s own, Paul Stokes and his team. Paul loves to source fresh local ingredients and the dinner’s menu will relfect the abundance of delicious produce the NSW South Coast has to offer.
All this plus the acclaimed ‘Malumba’ playing their virtuosic melodies, gypsy jazz, reggae and swinging Celtic flavours and more of the sensational ‘Faces of Australia’s Oyster Coast – a photographic exhibition by Heide Smith’.

Tastes of the South Coast at The Whale Restaurant (104 Wagonga Street ( Princes Highway), Narooma) Ex Pro surfer turned chef, Matthew Hoar, heads up the small team in the Whale kitchen. As part of the Narooma Oyster Festival, Matt has prepared a sumptuous five course dinner menu featuring the best of local produce on the South Coast. Australia’s Oyster Coast Ambrose Golf Classic
Tee off between 10.00am and 12.00pm – bookings essential No visit to the NSW south coast is complete without playing a round of golf at Narooma’s famous golf course. With a unique and stunning coastal setting the course is both a challenge for serious golfers and a pleasure to play for the not so serious. Why not play in the inaugural Australia’s Oyster Coast Ambrose Golf Classic. Ambrose is a user-friendly team game suitable for players of any level of ability, as every player tees off and the next shot is played from the position of the best selected ball.
