AVA Festival has partnered with Heverlee Premium Belgian Beer to give an artist (or collective) the budget and opportunity to create an installation at the festival, to live during both days and nights. The installations should be impactful and create a lasting impression on both the festival, and the attendees. The installation should be suitable for outdoors (waterproof), fit in a 10m x 10m x 10m area, and ideally be ground support (not hung). It must look as good in daylight as it does in darkness. The more engaging the installation is with the au- dience, the better. This could mean the audience need to walk through it, or can seat within the installation or on elements of the installation. Further information is available upon request, including floorplans, dimensions, weight loads and photographs - please contact [email protected] for more information. The installation should promote the story behind Heverlee; Belgian born and brewed, Heverlee is inspired by light, refresh- ing brews that were created by the Monks of Abbey of Premontre in Leuven in Medieval times. Created in association with the Monks who have been at the Abbey since 1129, Heverlee is an authentic, great tasting beer with an unexpected, unconvention- al attitude. As quiet masters of world beer, Heverlee like to be extraordinary and celebrate creative collaborations with masters of new possibilities. Through collaborations with artists and adventurers, Heverlee enjoys taking drinkers on a creative and refreshing journey. Create a work that is inspired by Heverlee and what it means to you... The total budget for the project is £4,500 and this must cover every element of the installation, including any related hire charges, power (if required), staffing, suspensions, platforms etc. Please find T&Cs for more details, deadline is 18th April, with winner announcement by the end of April. Judges will be the Heverlee Brand Manager and AVA Festival Director. To enter, complete the application form AND please upload a PDF that covers the following; 1. Vision + Description 2. Designs, with dimensions 3. The Project Plan and Team you would use to build / create the installation 4. Budget breakdown with suppliers Terms and Conditions By submitting you accept the following terms and conditions: Heverlee will own the IP of the design and would like to use the installation at other events.
