For those guests eager to experience the outdoors, The New Forest reclaims its wild charm in the winter. Enjoy crisp mornings ambling across the frost covered heathland, and explore the ancient woodland whilst spotting the elusive White Buck through the evening mist.

On the other hand, if it’s pampering and relaxation you desire, we must recommend our Christmas spa break. Our award-winning spa, SenSpa, offers an extensive range of eastern

inspired treatments and luxurious spa facilities for those looking to escape to Thailand without the jetlag.

As well as promoting relaxation, we like to encourage our guests to discover the delicious cuisine in our three restaurants; there is something to suit every taste. Enjoy exquisite modern British cuisine at Cambium, an authentic Thai feast in the Zen Garden or rustic French cuisine at Le Blaireau, Bar & Bistro.

Christmas festivities begin with a delightful yuletide afternoon tea whilst listening to the enchanting melodies of our harpist. Following a relaxing afternoon, our string quartet will welcome you through to a pre-dinner champagne reception. At dinner, you will be spoilt with the choice of three restaurants whilst beautiful hymns from the local choir fil l the hotel with festive cheer. Local churches are within walking distance, so wrap up warm and take a stroll to midnight mass.

25CHRISTMAS DAY

What better way to start Christmas Day than with a New Forest breakfast at Cambium. After breakfast, take part in our renowned ‘Car Treasure Hunt’, devised by Head of Concierge Colin, for the chance to win a magnum of Champagne. Christmas lunch will commence with Champagne and canapés followed by a traditional sumptuous feast. In the evening, enjoy a light buffet with live music from our guitarist.

26BOXING DAY

Wake up to a New Forest breakfast and be inspired by a cookery demonstration from our Head Chef, a wine pairing with our Sommelier and then perhaps take some time out to unwind at SenSpa. The Black Tie Ball completes the perfect Christmas break with a live band, dancing and mouth-watering food. On 27th December, depart at your leisure after breakfast - We will save your spot in front of the fire for next year!
