Royal Bengal Tigers are a special attraction of Jim Corbett Park because of the project tiger that was initiated quite some time ago to conserve the specie in order to keep the ecology balanced. This is also one of the major reasons for tourists coming down to the place. Some of them claim to have watched tigress with her cubs which is actually a rare scene. Consider yourself lucky if you could get it.

Often Jeep safari or Elephant safari is taken to roam in the jungle. It is really difficult to cover the whole area on foot in the given time frame.

Apart from tigers, you can also ready yourself to see pythons and crocodiles in the Ramnagar River that flows from here. Then, there are other animals like Cheetals, Sambhars, Wild Hogs, Rhesus Monkeys, Langurs, Owls, Nightjars, Elephants.

For those, who are more interested in Botany, can have excellent time pass for their time in the Jungle. 488 varieties of fauna are enough to be studied in a lifetime and you will get only few days here to see them. You can still, always choose those you are partial with or are more concerned.
