in the Constan-a area. l  The network will be fully Open Access. l  ISPs are invited to submit product offerings, to be made available to residents of

Constan-a and neighbouring areas. l  Residents will be provided with basic product info and if they choose, emailed

full info (including pricing) and encouraged to liaise directly with the ISP, who will have been provided with the lead info (via email).

l  Access link pricing will be the same across the board for all ISPs who sign agreements with Link Africa / Frogfoot.

By using an RF Overlay, any TV services and signals (DSTV, TopTV, CCTV, etc) can be delivered to every fibre connected household. CCTV views can be configured to display on unused TV channels.

Individual satellite dishes can be replaced by a set of centrally placed dishes on the fibre network, with individual contracts remaining unchanged.

A number of technical options for implementing this exist, which will need to be discussed in detail with the Constantia Fibre Initiative.

TERMS Interconnect l  Basic network design is GPON with 10:1 conten-on and 2:1 asymmetry. l  ISP to Peer with Frogfoot in Teraco on own cost – no peering in community node room. l  Links are Layer 2 from Teraco to Client, to be terminated on VLAN – see client ONT.

Services l  ISP’s to build their own packages that will include fibre access pricing. l  ISP’s will bill client for total cost and pay Frogfoot for Layer 2 service. l  Community portal to act as lead generator, with leads sent to ISP’s by automated mail. l  Community to rate interac-on with ISP. l  Extras can be bundled into offering. Access Link l  Connec-on fee : R 1,500* per client for first 30m, therea_er R 50 per meter. l  Same business day SLA l  Point to Point 1:1 links possible. l  24 month contract term – links may be repurposed. *(VAT excluded)


TERMS Es'mated lead 'me for installa'ons: l  4 weeks if fibre to the curb in place. l  As per roll out schedule if fibre to the curb pending.

Acceptance Cer'ficate l  Issued upon comple-on of installa-on and tes-ng. l  ISP has 2 business days to accept or reject l  On rejec-on, and a detailed wricen statement, Frogfoot shall then take steps to remedy. l  Billing in respect of the use of the Service shall commence on the Service Effec-ve Date.
