The 45th Annual General Meeting of the FMSCI was
held in Chennai on 27th November 2018.
2018 being the election year, elections were held
for the post of 10 Council members ; the FMSCI
amended its Articles of Association in the year 2017
and increased the number of Council Members
from 8 to 10.
After elections the following 10 Clubs were declared elected.

3) Coimbatore Auto Sports Club, Coimbatore (Mr.J. Prithiviraj)
4) Indian Automotive Racing Club Ltd., Mumbai (Mr.Farokh Commissariat)
5) Calcutta Motor Sports Club, Kolkata (Ms.Sita Raina)
6) Meco Motorsports Private Limited, Chennai (Mr.Akbar Ebrahim)
7) Spitfire Motorsports Private Limited, Coimbatore (Mr.B. Vijayakumar)
8) Motor Sports Club of Chikmagalur, Chikmagalur (Mr.Farooq Ahmed)
9) Performance Cars Racing Trust., New Delhi (Mr.Sanjay Sharma) and
10) Ramakrishna Race Performance Management Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata (Mr.Arindam Ghosh)
Mr.J. Prithiviraj of Coimbatore Auto Sports Club and Mr.Shivu Shivappa of Karnataka Motor
Sports Club were unanimously elected President & Vice President of the FMSCI respectively
as there were no other contestants.

As per FMSCI Articles of Association a representative for 2W / 4W to be co-opted by the
Council to attend all the meetings with no voting rights. Accordingly Mr.M.R. Dastur (2W)
and Mr.Arjun Balu (4W) were co-opted.

Insurance for Competitors & Officials
You are aware that all our licence holders are covered for Personal Accident of Rs.5 lakhs
along with Medical extension of Rs.5 lakhs. The Council decided to look in to the possibility
of increasing the same to Rs.10 lakhs from the year 2019. Await further information on this.

2019 FMSCI Schedule of Fees
The Council decided that there shall be no increase in the Competition Licence fee structure
for the year 2019. The revised permit fees etc. will be announced shortly.
Date and Venue for 2018 Prize Distribution
The 2018 Prize Distribution has been tentatively fixed on 25th February 2018 at Mumbai.

2019 FMSCI National Championships
The rights for various FMSCI National Championship given in 2016 ended on 31st December
2018. The FMSCI in November 2018, had sought Expression of Interest (EOI) from
Promoters for its various National Championship starting from 2019 either for 3 years or for
5 years.
For those disciplines where the FMSCI received more than one bid (4W Rally, 4W Autocross,
2W Rally, 2W Dirt Track and Karting), sealed bid and presentation by the Promoter on their
vision for the National Championship was called for. The Council after considering the

various aspects such as experience of the Promoter, their plans for the Championship, their
team members, their resources etc. awarded the following Championships to the following
