Work in its broadest sense can be an engaging,connecting and energising activity
It can confer health benefits, a sense of purpose, afeeling of normality and, of course, income
Yet too few people with MSDs are having return to workconversations with clinicians and employers
This means that for many clinical interventions whichsupport work ability and workplace accommodations
which can also help, remain inaccessible, poorly timed orinadequately resourced

Prioritise MSDs recognise their impact across the EU on lost
productivity & social exclusion and reflect this in clinicalpriorities & in active labour market policy
National & Regional Plans to provide a logic, standards,
pathways and outcome measures for health, welfare &employment support for people with MSDs
Include Work as an outcome in HTA healthcare decision-making to reflect societal impact of interventions
Support Self-management placing people with MSDs at thecentre of their care, vocational rehabilitation and workplaceaccommodations
