Introduction

The single most important visual element of the FG Wilson identity is the corporate logo. Consistently representing the correct use of the logo provides instant recognition and strengthens the FG Wilson identity.

FG Wilson is a trading name of Caterpillar (NI) Limited.

Caterpillar (NI) Limited, formerly known as FG Wilson (Engineering) Limited, is part of Caterpillar Inc.

Caterpillar Inc. owns a complex portfolio of brands whose roles and relationships support the growth to achieve the company’s enterprise goals. The Caterpillar brand is used in communications to represent the corporation with the investment community, employees, public policy makers and other key stakeholders.

The Caterpillar brand is the umbrella that shelters all other brands in the portfolio.

The smallest size allowed for use in print is 20 mm wide and the smallest size for use on screen is 126 pixels or above

Trademark Legislation & Restrictions

For promotional purposes the FG Wilson Distribution network should promote the FG Wilson brand identity and must not reference Caterpillar (NI) Limited in their promotional materials.

Use of the Caterpillar (company) and the Cat® (product) logos are restricted by trademark legislation and must not be used by the FG Wilson Distribution network.

One exception to this is when the Caterpillar and Cat logos are visible in images provided by Caterpillar (NI) Limited, for use in customer PowerPoint presentations and sales materials.

Such images may be used as provided however they must not be replicated, transferred or resized for any other deliverables or promotional use by the FG Wilson Distribution network.
