    WHY DOES FREQUENCY DROP WHY DOES FREQUENCY DROP

    Sudden addition of load causes a drop in frequency.

    An increased load is supplied through an increase in the load angle by whichthe rotor lags the stator field.

    It means a loss of Kinetic Energy of the rotating Mc and a slower speedof rotation i.e. a lower frequency.
