Maximum security for your camp

Our adaptive protection system is the perfect NATO STANAG 2280-compliant solution designed to protect containers against damage from rocket or mortar attack. The modular system comprises rigid, multi-layer steel elements that protect the outer side and end walls and a half-height container with integrated protection for the roof. All elements are quick to assemble and install, including to containers already in use. When combined, the individual components form a highly scalable overall system that is compa-tible with all standard 20‘ ISO containers. And in the event of the protective jacket becoming damaged, only the jacket itself has to be replaced – the contai-ners continue to be fit for use.

Unser adaptives Schutzsystem ist die optimale Lösung für den Schutz von Containern vor Beschä-digungen durch Raketenbeschuss oder Mörserge-schosse gemäß NATO STANAG 2280. Das modular aufgebaute System besteht aus massiven, mehr-schichtigen Stahlelementen als Schutz für die außen liegenden Seiten- und Stirnwände sowie einem Half-Height-Container mit integriertem Schutz für das Dach. Alle Elemente lassen sich schnell mon- tieren – auch an Container, die bereits im Einsatz sind. Die einzelnen Komponenten bilden im Verbund ein flexibel skalierbares Gesamtsystem, das mit allen 20‘-ISO-Standardcontainern kompatibel ist. Und falls der Schutzmantel einmal beschädigt werden sollte, muss auch nur dieser ausgetauscht werden – der Container bleibt weiter einsatzfähig.

A camp can consist of up to 32 containers covering all necessary functions. The smallest unit that can be protected comprises 4 containers. With this construction concept, only the outer walls and roof need to be protected.

Ein Camp kann aus bis zu 32 Containern mit allen erforderlichen Funktio-nen bestehen. Vier Con-tainer bilden die kleinste zu schützende Einheit. Bei dieser Bauweise sind nur die Außenwände und das Dach zu schützen.

Für den Transport des Systems haben wir ein extrem effizientes Konzept entwickelt: Alle erforderlichen Komponenten sind während des Transports in den dazugehörigen Half-Height-Containern verstaut – der spätere Dachaufbau stellt damit auch das Trans-portmedium dar. Je zwei Half-Height-Container werden nach dem Beladen zu einem 20‘-Standard-container zusammengefügt. Daher erhielt unser System mit der CSC-Zertifizierung die internationale Zulassung zum uneingeschränkten Containerum-schlag – es kann damit schnell und kostengünstig weltweit transportiert werden.

Wir übergeben Ihnen das System schlüsselfertig und übernehmen für Sie die Aufstellung der Container und die Adaption des Schutzsystems. Dafür stellen wir die erforderliche Anschluss- und Montageaus-rüstung bereit und sorgen dafür, dass die sicher-heitstechnisch relevanten Gutachten und Zertifikate verfügbar sind. Wenn Sie es wünschen, schulen wir Ihr Personal im Aufbau des Systems.

Deployable worldwide

We have developed an extremely efficient concept for transporting the system: all components are stowed during transportation in the half-height containers that belong to the system – that is, what will become the roof is also the transport me-dium. Two half-height containers are loaded onto the truck and coupled together to form a standard 20‘ container. This explains why our CSC-certified system has been granted unrestricted international approval for container handling, enabling it to be transported quickly and inexpensively around the globe.

After conducting com-prehensive testing, the German armed forces (Bundeswehr) have certi-fied the system as NATO STANAG 2280-compliant and approved its use without any limitations. A camera was used during the blast tests to document the resili-ence of the protection modules.

New challenges, new solutions

Our adaptive protection system for containers has been designed in close cooperation with the Bundes-wehr, which is already using it in Kunduz, Afghanis-tan. Right from the very beginning of development, the concept took full account of among other things the common international practice of arranging containers at military camps in blocks. The structure of the individual modules of our adaptive protection system is oriented precisely to this type of construc-tion and to the specific requirements that result from this.
