Too Much communication is short of the desired impact, it often misses the mark. A 2012 survey of 47,000 consumers across 15 markets conducted by Forbes and Reputation Institute found that perceptions of a company's social responsibility accounts for 42% of how consumers feel about that company. So, it certainly makes sense that companies would make shaping those perceptions a priority. Are these CSR communication efforts having the desired impact? How can we do a better job of this critical component for internal as well as external audience and stakeholders? What are the pitfalls we are falling into and what are the new insights and tools that can creatively engage with these audience and stakeholders which will enthuse and delight them as well inform and move them. What will help us break through the noise and clutter that we are bombarded with? Will it change hearts and minds, and so build reputation, preference and behaviors? In other words, are companies communicating their CSR commitments and initiatives in ways that establish those CSR efforts as truly relevant to consumers? In this masterclass session you will learn some successful examples of creative and vibrant CSR communication stories as well as learn about new and emerging as well as some classical but powerful tools and techniques in internal and external communication that will potentially refresh and rekindle your relationship with your audience, employees and stakeholders.
