Structure of many field courses
• 2 weeks of intensive study (0.5 credits) →1st week devoted to instruction, student seminars → 2nd week, work on independent projects• Written report submitted four
weeks after completion of field work.

• 14 participating Universities • 30 courses in 2015• Locations in Canada,
U.S.A., C. America, Caribbean, Africa, Asia.
• Time: spring-summer plus tropical courses in the winter

How much it costs?
Tuition fee for 0.5 credit + Field course fee: ($400 – $5,000)
•$350 deposit to WLU[Cheque or cash]•balance to host university
+•Transportation cost to the place where the course will begin.
