standards,includingIMASwhichfollowtheinternationalOrganisationforStandardisation(ISO) definition of standards. NMA Technical Standards & Guidelines (TSG’s) &OrganisationsStandardOperatingProcedures(SOP).

4. InformationManagementSystemMineAction(IMSMA):IntroductionintoIMSMADatabaseasamanagementtool,IMSMAreporting&GIS mapping system & Global Positioning System(GPS).MapreadinganduseofcompassandhandheldGPSsystems.

8. Minefield Marking: Fundamentalunderstanding of onsite requirements, marking andsafetydistancesforsettingout,marking&mappingofdangerousareas(DA),working,administrative,storageand demolitions sites. Practical conduct of mineclearanceoperationalsitesetup.

9. Demining & Battle Area Clearance (BAC):Introductionintomineclearance&operationalsystems,detection technologies & systems for humanitarianclearanceandlandreleasesuchas;manual,mechanicalandsentientclearancecapabilities.Practicaluseof locatorsanddetectors for subsurfaceanddeepburiedUXOdetection,clearance team compositions, roles and capabilities.Multiple training exercises for theconduct of manual clearance procedures and techniques, including explosive disposaltechniquesonlivedemolitionranges.10.
