Rechtliche Hinweise Warnhinweiskonzept Dieses Handbuch enthält Hinweise, die Sie zu Ihrer persönlichen Sicherheit sowie zur Vermeidung von Sachschäden beachten müssen. WARNUNG Siemens-Produkte dürfen nur für die im Katalog und in der zugehörigen technischen Dokumentation vorgesehenen Einsatzfälle verwendet werden. Falls Fremdprodukte und -komponenten zum Einsatz kommen, müssen diese von Siemens empfohlen bzw. zugelassen sein. Der einwandfreie und sichere Betrieb der Produkte setzt sachgemäßen Transport, sachgemäße Lagerung, Aufstellung, Montage, Installation, Inbetriebnahme, Bedienung und Instand-haltung voraus. Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

WARNUNG Brandgefahr und Gefahr durch Stromschlag Der Ein-Aus-Taster trennt das Gerät nicht vollständig von der Netzspannung. Ist das Gerät mit dem Ein-Aus-Taster ausgeschaltet, besteht dennoch Gefahr eines Stromschlags und Brandgefahr, z. B. bei einer Beschädigung des Geräts oder der Anschlussleitungen oder bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch. Trennen Sie das Gerät vor Wartungsarbeiten, bei längerer Nichtbenutzung oder bei einem Gerätedefekt vollständig von der Netzspannung. Fahren Sie erst das Betriebssystem herunter, falls möglich. Ziehen Sie dann, falls Sie das Gerät im Netzbetrieb verwenden, den Netzstecker und entnehmen Sie den Akku.

WARNUNG Gefahr durch Blitzschlag Ein Blitz kann in Netzleitungen und Datenübertragungsleitungen eindringen und auf eine Person überspringen. Tod, schwere Körperverletzung und Verbrennungen sind beim Blitzschlag die Folge. Treffen Sie folgende Vorsichtsmaßnahmen: • Ziehen Sie bei einem herannahenden Gewitter rechtzeitig den

Netzstecker. • Fassen Sie während des Gewitters keine Netzleitungen und Datenüber-

tragungsleitungen an. • Halten Sie auseichend Abstand zu elektrischen Leitungen, Verteilern,

Anlagen usw.

Peripheriegeräte

WARNUNG Schirmung der Signalleitungen mit Potenzialausgleich verbinden Stellen Sie beim Anschluss von langen Signalleitungen (vor allem bei gebäudeübergreifenden Verbindungen) sicher, dass die Signalleitungen jeweils in den örtlichen Potentialausgleich einbezogen sind (Verbindung des Leitungsschirms mit dem Schutzleiter). ACHTUNG Störung durch Peripheriegeräte Der Anschluss von Peripheriegeräten kann zu Störungen am Gerät führen. Personenschäden und Beschädigungen an der Maschine oder Anlage können die Folge sein. Beachten Sie Folgendes: • Schließen Sie nur Peripheriegeräte an, welche die Industrietauglichkeit

gemäß EN 61000-6-2 / IEC 61000-6-2 besitzen. • Nicht Hot Plug-fähige Peripheriegeräte dürfen nur angeschlossen werden,

wenn die Stromversorgung des Geräts abgeschaltet ist. • Benutzen Sie hochwertige Anschlussleitungen und Adapter für die

Peripheriegeräte. • Benutzen Sie möglichst kurze Anschlussleitungen für Ihre

Peripheriegeräte Beschädigung durch Rückspeisung Rückspeisung von Spannung gegen Masse durch eine angeschlossene oder eingebaute Komponente kann das Gerät beschädigen. Angeschlossene oder eingebaute Peripherie z. B. ein USB-Laufwerk, darf keine Spannung in das Gerät einbringen. Rückspeisung ist generell nicht zulässig.

Batterie und Akku

WARNUNG Explosionsgefahr und Gefahr von Schadstofffreisetzung Unsachgemäße Behandlung von Lithium-Batterien kann zur Explosion der Batterien führen. Explosion der Batterien und dadurch freigesetzte Schadstoffe können zu schwerer Körperverletzung führen. Verschlissene Batterien gefährden die Funktion des Geräts. Beachten Sie beim Umgang mit Lithium-Batterien die Informationen in der Betriebsanleitung.

Stark hochfrequente Strahlung

ACHTUNG Störfestigkeit gegen Hochfrequenzeinstrahlung beachten Das Gerät besitzt eine erhöhte Störfestigkeit gegen Hochfrequenz-einstrahlung gemäß den Angaben zur elektromagnetischen Verträglichkeit in den technischen Daten. Strahlungseinwirkung oberhalb der angegebenen Störfestigkeitsgrenzen kann Gerätefunktionen beeinträchtigen, zu Fehlfunktionen und somit zu Personen- oder Sachschaden führen. Beachten Sie die Angaben zur Störfestigkeit gegen Hochfrequenz-einstrahlung in den technischen Daten.

VORSICHT Gefahr von Beeinträchtigung von Herzschrittmachern Die Funkwellen von WLAN und Bluetooth können Herzschrittmacher beeinträchtigen. Wenn Sie einen Herzschrittmacher tragen, halten Sie bei aktiviertem WLAN oder Bluetooth einen Mindestabstand von 20 cm zum Field PG ein. Explosionsgefahr Die von WLAN und Bluetooth übertragenen Funkwellen können eine Explosion oder ein Feuer auslösen. Schalten Sie WLAN und Bluetooth des Field PG aus, wenn Sie sich in die Nähe entflammbarer Gase oder in eine explosionsgefährdete Umgebung (z. B. Lackiererei) begeben.

Hinweis Abhilfe bei Störungen der Mauszeigerbewegung Der Betrieb des Clickpad ist bei leitungsgeführten Störgrößen, induziert durch hochfrequente Felder gem. IEC/EN 61000-4-6 nur bis 3 V sichergestellt. Falls Sie Störungen der Mauszeigerbewegung im Betrieb in gestörter Umgebung feststellen und der weitere Betrieb in dieser Umgebung erforderlich ist, können Sie sich auf folgende Weise helfen: • Stellen Sie eine zusätzliche Masseverbindung her, z. B. über eine

geschirmte Signalleitung. • Benutzen Sie eine USB-Maus und schalten Sie das interne Touchpad aus

(Hotkey Fn + F4). • Statische Entladungen (ESD gem. IEC/EN 61000-4-6) können unter

ungünstigen Bedingungen zum Funktionsausfall des Clickpad führen. Falls eine Störung zum Ausfall des Clickpad geführt hat, können Sie es durch zweifaches Betätigen des Hotkey Fn + F4 reaktivieren.

Einschränkung beim Betrieb der Profibus/MPI Schnittstelle Die Aktivierung der Profibus/MPI Schnittstelle führt dazu, dass die Störaussendung gem. Wohnbereich (EN 61000-6-3) nicht eingehalten wird. Sofern Sie bei der Nutzung des Gerätes im Bürobereich Störungen anderer Geräte wahrnehmen, stellen Sie entweder einen größeren Abstand her, oder deaktivieren Sie die Profibus/MPI Schnittstelle im BIOS.

Einsatzhinweise

ACHTUNG Umgebungsbedingungen und Chemische Beständigkeit Umgebungen, die für das Gerät nicht geeignet sind, stören den Betrieb. Chemische Mittel, z. B. Reinigungs- oder Betriebsmittel, können Farbe, Form und Struktur der Gerätoberfläche verändern. Das Gerät kann beschädigt werden. Fehlfunktionen können die Folge sein. Beachten Sie daher die folgenden Vorsichtsmaßnahmen: • Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur in geschlossenen Räumen. Bei

Zuwiderhandlung erlischt die Gewährleistung. • Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur entsprechend den Umgebungs-

bedingungen, die in den Technischen Daten angegeben sind. • Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Staub, Feuchtigkeit und Hitze. • Setzen Sie das Gerät keiner direkten Bestrahlung durch Sonnenlicht

oder andere starke Lichtquellen aus. • Ohne Zusatzschutzmaßnahmen, z. B. durch Zuführung sauberer Luft,

kann das Gerät nicht an Orten mit erschwerten Betriebsbedingungen durch ätzende Dämpfe oder Gase eingesetzt werden.

• Verwenden Sie nur geeignete Reinigungsmittel. Beachten Sie die Hinweise zur chemischen Beständigkeit im Internet (siehe Betriebsanleitung, Abschnitt "Service und Support", After Sales Information System SIMATIC PC/PG).

WARNUNG Brandgefahr Das Außengehäuse besteht aus Magnesium. Bei Kontakt mit externem offenem Feuer besteht Brandgefahr/Brandausbreitungsgefahr.

Lieferung auspacken und überprüfen 1. Wenn Sie die Lieferung entgegen nehmen, prüfen Sie die

Verpackung und den Verpackungsinhalt auf sichtbare Transport-schäden.

2. Wenn Transportschäden vorhanden sind, reklamieren Sie die Lieferung beim zuständigen Spediteur. Lassen Sie die Transport-schäden unverzüglich durch den Spediteur bestätigen.

3. Bewahren Sie die Originalverpackung für einen erneuten Transport auf.

4. Wenn der Verpackungsinhalt unvollständig, beschädigt ist oder nicht Ihrer Bestellung entspricht, informieren Sie unverzüglich den zuständigen Lieferservice. Senden Sie den beiliegenden Faxvordruck "SIMATIC IPC/PG-Qualitäts-Kontrollmeldung" ein.

WARNUNG Stromschlag- und Brandgefahr durch beschädigtes Gerät Ein beschädigtes Gerät kann unter gefährlicher Spannung stehen und einen Brand an der Maschine oder Anlage auslösen. Ein beschädigtes Gerät besitzt unvorhersehbare Eigenschaften und Zustände. Personen- oder Sachschaden kann die Folge sein. Verhindern Sie, dass das beschädigte Gerät unbeabsichtigt eingebaut und in Betrieb genommen wird. Kennzeichnen Sie das beschädigte Gerät und halten Sie es unter Verschluss. Geben Sie das Gerät unverzüglich zur Reparatur.

5. Beachten Sie bei Lagerung des Geräts: Lagern Sie das Gerät trocken. Gleichen Sie das Gerät vor der Inbetriebnahme der Raumtemperatur an. Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht der direkten Wärmestrahlung eines Heizgeräts aus. Bei Betauung schalten Sie das Gerät erst nach kompletter Trocknung ein oder nach einer Wartezeit von ca. 12 Stunden.

6. Bewahren Sie auch die mitgelieferten Unterlagen auf. Sie gehören zum Gerät. Wenn Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal in Betrieb nehmen, benötigen Sie die Unterlagen.

7. Notieren Sie die Identifikationsdaten des Geräts.

Landesspezifische Hinweise

WARNUNG Betrieb nur an geerdeten Stromversorgungsnetzen Das Gerät ist nur für den Betrieb an geerdeten Stromversorgungsnetzen vorgesehen (TN-Netze nach VDE 0100 Teil 100 bzw. IEC 60364-1). Der Betrieb über nicht geerdete oder über Impedanz geerdete Netze ist nicht erlaubt. Anschlussleitung entsprechend Sicherheitsvorschriften erforderlich Wenn Sie eine AC-Anschlussleitung verwenden, die nicht den lokalen Sicherheitsvorschriften entspricht, dann besteht Brandgefahr und Gefahr durch Stromschlag. WARNING Equipotential bonding of the signal cable shields When you connect long signal cables (particularly with connections between buildings), make sure the signal cables are always integrated into the local equipotential bonding system (connecting the cable shielding to the protective conductor).

NOTICE Fault caused by I/O devices The connection of I/O devices can cause faults in the device. The result may be personal injury and damage to the machine or plant. Note the following: • Only connect I/O devices which are approved for industrial applications in

accordance with EN 61000-6-2/IEC 61000-6-2. • I/O devices that are incapable of hot-plugging may only be connected after

the device has been disconnected from the power supply.• Use high-quality connection cables and adapters for the I/O devices.• If possible, use short connection cables for your I/O devices.Damage through regenerative feedback Regenerative feedback of voltage to ground by a connected or installed component can damage the device. Connected or built-in I/O, for example, a USB drive, must not supply any voltage to the device. Regenerative feedback is generally not permitted.

Battery and rechargeable battery

WARNING Risk of explosion and release of harmful substances Improper handling of lithium batteries can result in an explosion of the batteries. Explosion of the batteries and the released pollutants can cause severe physical injury. Worn batteries jeopardize the function of the device. Intense high frequency radiation

NOTICE Observe immunity to high frequency radiation The device has an increased resistance to high frequency radiation according to the information on electromagnetic compatibility in the technical specifications. Radiation exposure to immunity levels above the specified limits can impair device functions, result in malfunctions and cause harm to persons and machines. Observe the information on immunity to high frequency radiation in the technical specifications.

CAUTION Risk of interference with pacemakers The radio waves of WLAN and Bluetooth may interfere with pacemakers. If you wear a pacemaker, keep a minimum distance of 20 cm from the Field PG when WLAN or Bluetooth is activated. Danger of explosion The radio waves transmitted by WLAN and Bluetooth may trigger an explosion or fire. Switch off WLAN and Bluetooth of the Field PG if you go in the vicinity of flammable gases or in an explosive environment (e.g. paint shop).

Note Remedy for faults in mouse cursor movement In the case of cable-conducted interferences induced by high-frequency fields in accordance with IEC/EN 61000-4-6, operation of the clickpad is only guaranteed up to 3 V. cable.• Use a USB mouse and switch off the internal touchpad (hotkey Fn + F4).• In unfavorable conditions, static discharge (ESD acc. to IEC/EN 61000-4-6) can

cause the clickpad to fail. If a fault has caused the clickpad to fail, you can reactivate it by pressing the hotkey Fn + F4 twice.

Limitations for operation of the Profibus/MPI interface

Activating the Profibus/MPI interface has the result that the emission standard for residential areas (EN 61000-6-3) is not complied with. If you notice interference from other devices when using the device in an office environment, either establish a greater distance or deactivate the Profibus/MPI interface.

Si vous portez un pacemaker, conservez une distance minimale de 20 cm entre vous et le Field PG lorsque le WLAN ou le Bluetooth sont activés. Si vous constatez des problèmes lors du déplacement du curseur de la souris durant le fonctionnement de l'appareil dans un environnement perturbé et que le fonctionnement de l'appareil dans cet environnement reste nécessaire, vous pouvez y remédier de la façon suivante : • Etablissez une connexion supplémentaire à la masse, p. ex. par un câble de

signaux blindé.• Utilisez une souris USB et désactivez le pavé tactile interne (raccourci clavier

Fn + F4).• Les décharges électrostatiques (ESD selon IEC/EN 61000-4-6) peuvent en

cas de mauvaises conditions provoquer une panne de fonctionnement du pavé tactile. Si une perturbation a provoqué une panne du pavé tactile, vous pouvez le réactiver en pressant deux fois simultanément les touches Fn + F4.

Restrictions dûes au fonctionnement de l'interface Profibus/MPI. L'activation de l'interface Profibus/MPI a pour effet que l'émission de perturbations dans le secteur résidentiel (selon EN 61000-6-3) n'est pas respectée. Nota Rimedio in caso di disturbi nel movimento del puntatore del mouse Il funzionamento del clickpad è garantito solo fino a 3 V con grandezze di disturbo indotte da campi ad alta frequenza secondo IEC/EN 61000-4-6. Se si notano disturbi nel movimento del puntatore del mouse durante il funzionamento ed è necessario continuare a lavorare in questo ambiente è possibile utilizzare i seguenti rimedi: • Creare un'ulteriore collegamento a massa, ad es. tramite un cavo di segnale

schermato. • Utilizzare un mouse USB e disattivare il Touchpad interno (tasti di scelta rapida

Fn + F4). • Scariche elettrostatiche (secondo IEC/EN 61000-4-6) possono causare in

condizioni sfavorevoli un guasto del clickpad. Se dovesse ferificarsi un tal guasto è possibile riattivare il clickpad facendo doppio clic sui tasti di scelta rapida Fn + F4).

Limitazione di funzionamento dell'interfaccia PROFIBUS/MPI L'attivazione dell'interfaccia PROFIBUS/MPI fa sì che non venga rispettata l'emissione di disturbi secondo l'ambiente domestico (EN 61000-6-3). Se durante l'utilizzo del dispositivo in ufficio si dovessero notare dei disturbi ad altri dispositivi, aumentare la distanza tra questi oppure disattivare l'interfaccia PROFIBUS/MPI nel BIOS.

Consignas generales de seguridad

ADVERTENCIA Peligro de incendio y de electrocución El pulsador ON/OFF no desconecta completamente el equipo de la red. Si el equipo se ha desconectado con el pulsador ON/OFF, sigue existiendo peligro de descarga eléctrica y de incendio, p. ej. en caso de que el equipo o los cables de conexión estén dañados o en caso de uso indebido. Desconecte el equipo completamente de la red antes de realizar trabajos de mantenimiento, si no va a utilizar el equipo durante algún tiempo, o bien en caso de que esté defectuoso. Apague primero el sistema operativo, si es posible. Si utiliza el equipo conectado a la red, desenchufe entonces el conector de red y retire la batería.

ADVERTENCIA Peligro por rayo Los rayos pueden penetrar en los cables de red y de transmisión de datos y descargar sobre una persona. Las consecuencias de la descarga de un rayo son quemaduras y lesiones graves, o incluso la muerte. Radiación de alta frecuencia ATENCIÓN Inmunidad a las perturbaciones conducidas, inducidas por los campos de radiofrecuencia El equipo tiene una elevada inmunidad a las perturbaciones conducidas, inducidas por campos de radiofrecuencia según las especificaciones sobre compatibilidad electromagnética indicadas en los datos técnicos. Una exposición a la radiación por encima de los límites especificados de inmunidad puede mermar las funciones del equipo, derivar en un mal funcionamiento del mismo y causar con ello daños personales o materiales. Tenga en cuenta las especificaciones relativas a la inmunidad a las perturbaciones conducidas, inducidas por los campos de radiofrecuencia.

PRECAUCIÓN Peligro de daños en marcapasos Las ondas de radiofrecuencia de WLAN y Bluetooth pueden perjudicar el funcionamiento de los marcapasos. Si lleva un marcapasos, mantenga una distancia mínima de 20 cm respecto de la Field PG cuando WLAN o Bluetooth esté activado. Peligro de explosión Las ondas de radiofrecuencia transmitidas por WLAN y Bluetooth pueden provocar una explosión o fuego. Desactive WLAN y Bluetooth en la Field PG cuando esté cerca de gases inflamables o en un entorno explosivo (p. ej. en un taller de pintura).

Nota Solución en caso de que falle el movimiento del ratón El funcionamiento del clickpad, en el caso de perturbaciones conducidas por cable, inducidas por los campos de alta frecuencia según IEC/EN 61000-4-6, solo está garantizado hasta 3 V. Si observa que falla el movimiento del ratón en entornos sujetos a interferencias y debe continuar trabajando en este entorno, puede recurrir a lo siguiente: • Establezca una conexión adicional a masa, p. ej. a través de un cable de señal

apantallado.• Utilice un ratón USB y desactive el touchpad interno (tecla Fn + F4).• En condiciones desfavorables, el clickpad puede fallar debido a descargas

electrostáticas (según IEC/EN 61000-4-6). Si el clickpad fallara a causa de este tipo de interferencias, puede reactivarlo pulsando dos veces la tecla Fn + F4.

Limitaciones en caso de utilizar la interfaz Profibus/MPI En caso de activar la interfaz Profibus/MPI, puede ocurrir que no se cumpla la emisión de interferencias para viviendas (EN 61000-6-3). Si al utilizar el equipo en la oficina se observaran interferencias con otros equipos o aparatos, colóquelo a una distancia mayor o desactive la interfaz Profibus/MPI en la BIOS. Indicaciones para el empleo ATENCIÓN Condiciones ambientales y resistencia a los productos químicos Los entornos para los que no es apto el equipo impiden un funcionamiento correcto del mismo. Los agentes químicos, como los productos de limpieza y servicio, pueden modificar el color, la forma y la estructura de la superficie del equipo. El equipo puede resultar dañado. Como consecuencia pueden producirse fallos de funcionamiento. Por ello hay que observar las siguientes normas de precaución: • Utilizar el equipo únicamente en espacios cerrados. En caso de

incumplimiento quedará anulada la garantía. • Utilice el equipo solo en las condiciones ambientales indicadas en los datos

técnicos.• Proteja el equipo del polvo, la humedad y el calor.• No exponga el equipo a la luz solar directa ni a otras fuentes luminosas

potentes.• Sin medidas de protección adicionales, como la entrada de aire limpio, el

equipo no puede utilizarse en lugares con condiciones ambientales durasdebido a la presencia de vapores o gases corrosivos.

• Utilice solo productos de limpieza adecuados. Observe las indicaciones relativas a la resistencia a productos químicos recogidas en Internet (véanselas instrucciones de servicio, capítulo "Service and Support", After Sales Information System SIMATIC PC/PG).

ADVERTENCIA Peligro de descarga eléctrica y de incendio por daños en el equipo Un equipo dañado puede encontrarse sometido a un nivel de tensión peligroso y provocar el incendio de la máquina o de la instalación. Resulta imposible predecir las características y estados reinantes en un equipo deteriorado. Pueden producirse daños personales o materiales. Tome las medidas necesarias para impedir que el equipo dañado sea montado y puesto en marcha. Identifique el equipo deteriorado y manténgalo guardado bajo llave. Il simbolo del cassonetto barrato riportato sull'apparecchiatura o sulla sua confezione indica che il prodotto alla fine della propria vita utile deve essere raccolto separatamente dagli altri rifiuti. La raccolta differenziata della presente apparecchiatura giunta a fine vita e' organizzata e gestita dal produttore. L'utente che vorrà disfarsi della presente apparecchiatura dovrà quindi contattare il produttore e seguire il sistema che questo ha adottato per consentire la raccolta separata dell'apparecchiatura giunta a fine vita.

Lo smaltimento abusivo del prodotto da parte del detentore comporta l'applicazione delle sanzioni amministrative previste dalla normativa vigente.

Per gli utenti di apparecchiature Siemens diversi dagli utenti domestici, Siemens fornirà un servizio di recupero e riciclaggio delle stesse. Sarà sufficiente che il cliente restituisca, al momento dell'acquisto di una nuova apparecchiatura, il vecchio prodotto da dismettere.

Siemens fornirà quindi i mezzi per la raccolta ed il trattamento dei RAEE ai propri clienti professionali. The Wireless Adapter and Your Health The wireless adapter, like other radio devices, emits radio frequency electromagnetic energy. The level of energy emitted by the wireless adapter, however, is less than the electromagnetic energy emitted by other wireless devices such as mobile phones. The wireless adapter operates within the guidelines found in radio frequency safety standards and recommendations.
