A forerunner in the social responsibility of companies, the Social Service of Industry (SESI-SP), an entity of the Fiesp
system, acts on the areas of education, health, sports and leisure, food and sociocultural, being one of the main spon-
sors of artistic-cultural activities in Brazil.
FILE - Electronic Language International Festival is in its ninth edition, always concerned with the democratization of the
access to digital culture. SESI-SP has, therefore, contributed in an innovative and effective way to the diffusion of various
cultural manifestations that use technology as a means of creativity, contemplating different areas of human knowledge.

FILE 2008 inaugurates an unprecedented event
in Brazil: FILE digital cinema. The movies of the
future, in ultra-high definition. Fourteen films
produced with the 4k technology, including one
from Brazil, will be shown at SESI Popular Thea-
ter for five days. These small format films are still
rare today, because the technology is expensive
and a few laboratories master it. However, we
have never seen something so marking and im-
pressive as those images that anticipate the new
world cinema.
