CALL FOR THE SCIENTIX 2 TEACHER’S PANEL Academic year 2013 - 2014

Aim During the first 3 years of the Scientix project, a teacher panel provided support through numerous activities such as: establishing scientific and pedagogical criteria for content collection; analysing, commenting, and rating Scientix teaching materials and resources; giving feedback on the usability of the portal and its services; providing input into the preparation of the European conference; monitoring the dissemination of the project at regional and national level; participating in national and international conferences and events to present the project and participating actively in the communities of practice accessible on the portal.

Now, Scientix is taking the next step forward and has begun the second part of the project. In the frame of this new cycle, and after the success of the first teacher’s panel, Scientix is looking for dynamic, motivated and creative teachers to be part of our new Scientix Teacher’s Panel.

Teachers are therefore invited to apply to be part of the Teachers’ Panel for the 2013 – 2014 academic year, as either Scientix Ambassadors (teachers or ex-teachers with experience in disseminating science education, in sharing their expertise, participating in European projects, etc.) or Scientix Deputy Ambassadors (teachers looking to contribute to science education in Europe with limited experience in European projects).
