films original trailer. The film dictator is about, one leader who if very different

from everyone else, he only cares about his wealth and expects everyone to listen to him, he uses very funny gestures, to assassinate anyone he does not like. His cousin in the film wants him dead so hey tries killing him but it don't work , because the guy that was going to kill him wasn't able to , and all he did was shave his beard of , which changed him completely and people didn't recognise him. He met a girl through the middle of the film and changed his mind.

This film gave me and my group an idea why we chose an action and comedy genre

THE FILM OPENING.

This is the first scene of dictator. Straight away the creator on the film uses a funny imagine to represent a dictator in a real world

The credit used in the opening is very bold , and matching , it mixes in with the background colours , the movie seems that its very popular because it is presented by poaramountian pictures. Therefore a good film is to be expected by the audience.

The editing of this clip, has a lot of scene , because they use pictures of fake countries, which gives the audience a brief idea of the film

“Tension are rising as the stand of between the world community and the north African nation of wadiay” the diagalouge makes the film unrealistic and hard to imagine, of the fake country and the name that they have used, this is why the film straight away gives the impression of their genre being comedy.

The mis en scene Rich garment , straight away makes the audience know that he is the leader , he is the main character

The beard, very unusual gives us the first impression of him as being funny,

“GENERAL ALADIN” the name of the character ,gives the audience a brief instruction of the film ,therefore it already establishes that he is the main character that they are talking about

“Tonight we ask who is General Aladdin?” in the beginning we know he is the biggest hit the dialogue makes him sound someone really big , because they ask the question to there self. Everyone around the world is talking about him. His wearing a plain garment and riding a horse which indicates , leadership and richness of the character.This is the reason why the film is interesting and has the genre of comedy. The character is a hit araround the world

“He was born in 1973” with a beard, this represents comedy , it gives the effect on the audience, because it something that isn't expected in a normal human, the editing used in this scene is a mid shot, we can see the whole of the baby and just the middle of the man holding him

They used titles like , news flash, there it seems that there is a serious concern , there it indicates to us that there has to be some action, for this news topic to end

“He did not know his mother who died in child birth” as an audience we know she got killed , the funny digitise music at the background makes it something which is very unnecessary to care about. They also use dramatic irony because as an audience we know she got killed.

He was the general at the age of 7 , this is comedy because its something very wrong and weird have fully grown ladies with him at a young age.They also use high angle shot, this makes

the kid look more powerful. we can see by the customs of the kid , that he is well dressed, therefore we straight away have the idea in our mind that he is the leader , and the main character. From this scene even the genre gets presented very well , because this is a very unusual scene and something which will never happen in real life

“Known for his iconic beard, he is protected by 30 female guard” the dialogue is the hint which tell us that his the main character, this us an effect because it introduces him to the audience straight away

Mid shot of the character , shows us his upper body and his characters appearance. This us an effect because it lets the audience see the main character straight away

The dialogue: “the man: alright lets get right to it , do you have nuclear weapons? The dictator, he laughs , what was the question...? The man: do you have nuclear weapon . Dictator , I cant hear you . The man lets move on . Dictator , yes I hear you now.”from this dialogue you can tell that the dictator is , a big headed guy , he tries being smart because he was asked a question which made him look small . There fore the main character is represented as bigheaded and very annoying.
