Cinematography & Camera Techniques

They have used the tracking camera technique where they are following someone into a club. This gives us the sense that the audience is in a first person perspective. This makes the film more personal because it makes the audience feel as though they are there.

Visual Effects & Colour Scheme

This is the very first thing we see in the movie, it is a camera following someone wearing a jumper with the film production companies name on the back. This is used to show that he film company has managed to bring the film to life. It does this by showing this text (that would usually be placed over the footage) in a physical state.

Genre Conventions In the title sequence we see some funny activities so we would expect the film to be a comedy. For example we can see that the main character jumping off the stage and hitting the floor. We usually associate people getting hurt in a stupid way to be funny, and due to the sound being played and the knowledge that he character is ok makes the scene very enjoyable.

Narrative By using subtle hints with different camera techniques and text we begin to gain a glimpse into what the story is about. We see a man texting someone “These guys suck Leave” this shows the audience what could be a big part for the plot of the film.

Editing Techniques In the title sequence the character is on the floor, they use a cross fade to transition from him being lay on the floor in the bar too m lay in his bead in the same position. This is good because it gives us that sensation of time moving but it only taking a couple of seconds.

Title Credit Design The font and colour used is bold, it stands out. It is a darkish colour which can represent the scene that we are seeing. In a dark club with a band playing. The name is larger than the other text, this shows that the people behind the production are publicised and they are well credited.
