Type G80 (Bag Filter)

The G80 Bag Filters are designed to remove large quantities of coarse

particles. The G80 Bag Filters are made of synthetic fi bers which are thermally

bonded to secure a strong and rigid fi lter media.

Bag fi lters are mainly used as pre/fi rst stage fi lters in the gas turbine air inlet.

The G80 Bag Filters are made of a rigid plastic frame which is fully recyclable.

The fi lters have a foamed gasket at downstream and/or upstream side to

ensure absolute tightness between fi lter and frame housing.

Type GV8 (V-Cell Filter)

The GV8 V-Cell Filter can be manufactured in various effi ciencies from M6-H14.

Thanks to its construction the GV8 Filter is very effi cient compared to

other fi lter types. The large surface area secures a low initial pressure drop.

The fi lter media is developed for these special application and conditions.

The media is equipped with a thin synthetic layer which provides excellent

protection from handling and operation. This high quality fi lter fulfi lls the

highest requirements and reaches a bursting pressure of over 6000 Pa.

Type GR0 ( Cylindrical Filter)

The GR0 cylindrical fi lter cartridges are especially designed to meet the

strict demands of gas turbine air fi ltration systems. The fi lter media used

in these fi lters provides high protection to gas turbines.

The fi lters are available in both, self-cleaning pulse and static type and are

suitable for vertical and horizontal design.

The outstanding durability and the high effi ciency of the fi lter media

decreases the risk of dust entering due to media failure or due to high

dust penetration.

Type GRV & GR0 (Conical & Cylindrical Filter)

The GRV conical fi lter cartridges are especially designed to meet the high

demands of gas turbine air fi ltration systems. The special fi ltration media

provides maximum protection for the turbine.

The fi lters are available in both self-cleaning pulse and static type and are

suitable for vertical and horizontal design.

The outstanding durability and the high effi ciency of the fi lter media

decreases the risk of dust entering due to media failure and to

high dust penetration.

Type GV2

The GV2 V-Cell air inlet fi lter is designed to provide safe protection to gas

turbines.

The benefi ts are: low pressure drop, long lifetime media with high tensile

pulse jet cleaning.

Type GV8 (V-Cell Filter)

The GV8 Full Plastic Compact

Prefi lter is designed to meet the

strictest requirements in gas turbine

applications. Each GV8 Full Plastic Filter

contains eight (8) ‘Minipleats-Media Packs’

cast in V-cell technology to achieve the lowest

pressure drop results, the highest dust holding

capacity, and high burst pressures.

Typical range from F7 or MERV 13 up to E12

(EPA). Also available in reverse fl ow, half size and

deep pockets (400 mm) for higher fi ltration area

(usually in EPA stages)

Design

The side covers of the fi lter are made from rigid

plastic with integrated water outlet slopes at

the up and down stream sides.

These features, in combination with the reinforced

profi les, ensure maximum space for the fi lter

media pack and provide a high mechanical

strength. The fibreglass media pleated in

“mini-pleat shape” can be reinforced with an

additional plastic rib that is cast with polyurethane

sealant in V-Cell technology directly into

the side cover.

This design provides a very high burst pressure

in correlation with maximum dust holding

capacity, low pressure drop and safe removal

of condensate water. The fi lters are supplied

with a fl at fl ange and endless gasket creating a

secure seal between the fi lter and each standard

prefi lter holding frame.

Design

The fi lter has two zinc-coated steel (stainless

steel / powder coated) end-caps on each

end. The upper side has a glued cylindrical-

gasket and the lower one has an attached

sealing disk (optional).

The reinforced pleated fi lter media FA8267 is

cast together with the expanded zinc-coated

steel (stainless steel / powder coated) screens

into the caps with polyurethane. The embossed

pleating spacers at the top and bottom of each

pleat and the hotmelt spiral on the outside and

inside of the fi lter, ensure the uniform shape of

the fi lter media throughout the fi lter lifetime. For

some media also Minipleat application is applied.

This construction gives a highly active fi lter

surface with a high dust-holding capacity and

a low pressure drop.
