• Wiesner graduated from Rhode Island School of Design.– Wiesner committed himself full-time to the study of art and to
explore further his passion for wordless storytelling.– While attending Rhode Island School of Design, Wiesner met
Tom Sgouros and David Macaulay.
• Wiesner illustrated more than twenty award-winning books for young readers.
• Today Wiesner lives with his wife and their son and daughter in the Philadelphia area, where he continues to create dreamlike and inventive images for books.
