Gladesville – Proposed changes to time limit in Council car park At the Ryde Traffic Committee on 4 February 2010 it was resolved in part as follows. That Council undertake a survey of businesses within Gladesville (including the Chamber of Commerce) to confirm support or otherwise for the existing 2P time limit to be changed to 3P within Council’s Coulter Street Car Park. Council is seeking the views of business owners within Gladesville to the proposed change from 2P Parking to 3P parking restriction Council car park located in Coulter Street. In this regard, Council has prepared a survey (ATTACHED) in respect of the above matter. Note all private information is kept confidential and only a summary of the survey results will be published. Please note that all responses must be received NO LATER than Friday 4 June 2010. Should you have any further enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact Council’s Traffic Engineer on 9952 8112. Council’s Waste Services have raised concerns of access difficulty by their garbage trucks in Blair Street when cars are parked on both sides. I wish to advise that at the Ryde Traffic Committee Meeting to be held on 16 September 2010 a report will be prepared to consider parking restrictions on one side of Blair Street on the garbage collection day (Tuesday) between 5am to 11am only. As you are an affected resident you have been consulted by this letter regarding changes to an on street parking on Blair Street.
