My final choices

I have chosen the first image because it is a close up shot which allows us to see the facial expression. Also, the background is simple so easy to edit and work with.

I have chosen the second image because it conforms to stereotypical rock hand gestures and signs. Also, it is a mid-shot to show off the rock-style outfit.
