Missionaries bring many gifts to the local church and welcome the opportunity to be a blessing in new and creative your congregation. Missionaries have diverse skills: fundraising, evangelism techniques, organization, management of voluntary struc- tures, construc tion, teaching and discipleship, leade rship development, etc. I would look forward to talking with you as a fellow minister—and to serving you, your staff and congregation in any way I can. We want to increase relational creative alternatives for missions communication: 1. Adult sma ll groups hosting a missionary during the midweek, or a speci al week o f missiona ry dinners a t various 3. Bring the childr en and the youth into the adult service to hear the mis sionary pres entation (or t ake the miss ionar - ies to the children and youth). 4. around the world. Consider using a wee knight or a series of wee knights. 5. If you are hosting a missionary at a worship service and they are giving a “missions window, ” consider supple - menting their exposure by opening up an adult, youth, or children’s education service/class. 6. Beyond the traditional m issionary r eport, allo w them to use different types of presentatio ns when o n your chur ch campus: videos, Q & A, story telling, table display s, lunches, etc. 7.
