CUM LAUDE

MC JOY: The student who is conferred CUM LAUDE academic honors is one whose general weighted average is 1.70-1.51, with no grade lower than 2.50 in any academic subject. Moreover, he/she must have at least three years of residency in Siena and has shown exemplary conduct indicative of strong moral values.

This year’s cum laude awardee/ s is / are:

BSHRM student, Mr. Amante Silva. He is also an Albertus Magnus Awardee. This award is given to the student who excelled in research with the best thesis. Mr. Silva will also be receiving the Mother Sebastiana Outstanding Club member award which is given to individuals who performed exceptionally in his/her respective club.

The next cum laude is Mr. Raymon Ritumban, ABMC. He will also be receiving the Mother Natividad Pilapil, OP Medal which is awarded to an outstanding member of an accredited club or organization. Apart from this, Mr. Ritumban will also be given the Campus Journalism Award which is given to a student journalist whose work demonstrates a commitment to excellence and leadership in campus journalism.

Ms. France Marie Cuya of the BSERE is another cum laude and will also be receiving the Teatro Veritas award for having been an exceptional member of the Teatro Veritas.

Also from the BSERE department, Ms. Anna Margarita Andes is also a Cum laude awardee. She will also be receiving the teatro veritas award, the St. Thomas Aquinas Medal which is awarded to a BSE graduate who has excelled in participation and practice teaching and the Peer Facilitator award for having been outstanding members of the Peer facilitators club.

Ms. Shiela Mae Guisangue, BSERE, is the next Cum laude awardee and will also be receiving the Mother Francisca Community Service Award which is given to an active member of the Confraternity of Mother Francisca del Espiritu Santo (COMFES) and/or Mother Francisca Commission. He/she has actively participated in the community extension service of the school; is involved in parish and barangay activities/organization; and has good moral conduct in and out of school.
