The Blend of Hardwork And Attitude The summer vacation must have served as a treat to a body and mind tired due to monotony. Now, it’s time to get back to work and let’s work harder and leave no stone unturned to achieve our goals. Hardwork is surely the key to success but only that won’t be enough. A positive attitude towards life must be ingrained in a pupil’s character. It helps him while he troubleshoots the problems and also aids in the realization of his potentials. Blend your hardwork with diligence and positive mindset and nothing can restrict you even from conquering this world.

If Galileo had said in verse that the world moved, the inquis i t ion might have le t him alone . You are aware, we live in a world of speed – faster communications, faster travels, faster trades, faster time to market, faster results. Time is indeed a precious resource that we should not waste. Yet there is so much we miss, so much we fail to understand if we don’t regard time itself as an opportunity. True scholarship requires you to ask questions that you never be able to answer, to follow leads that may prove to be dead ends, to explore with a rigour and a depth that require immense as well as discipline. As such I enjoy in you to ask questions all the time In your classroom rooms, libraries, and even during your fun-catching times, let quest for knowledge spur new questions from within you.

"Children are like wet cement, whatever falls on them makes an

impression" We discovered today that our little Modernites are great

potters. The students of Pre-School and Pre-Primary had a first hand

experience of learning by doing through a pottery session held for them

on 07.07.17(Friday).

They made beautiful vases and diyas .The activity helped them to

develop their aesthetic sense and eye-hand coordination. Getting their

hands messy with the wet clay and watching the small blob transform

into a figure they designed themselves made each one ecstatic.

The dance is a poem of which each movement is a word.”

Dance is a great way to experience joy, success and feelings. Everyone loves this

amazing flavour of human art. With the aim of honing the dancing skills of the

students, a Solo Dance Competition for Class I was held on 13th July 2017. Children

enthralled the audience with their well- choreographed dance performances and

provided thorough entertainment with their graceful and energetic moves.

Children were happy in their colourful attire. The choreography, rhythm,

synchronization and presentation of all the students were par excellence.

The greatest art in the world is the art of story telling

Stories are there in every child’s mind, waiting to be discovered. They have

always been the best way to restore order with imagination and instill values,

hope, love and wisdom. The same was experienced by the students of class IV

ries transported the audience into the fascinating world of tales and also made

an everlasting impact on everyone with the morals imbibed in it. Tagore House

stole the show and bagged the first position.

STORY TELLING
