I am going to make a carp fishing magazine in which will be original and include relevant information. In my magazine I am going to include a front cover page, a contents page, a double page spread with an article and a back page. The two pages which would be blank which are the back of the front and the back page will have advertisement on them which will be created by me.

Synopsis of Idea (content, narrative, genre)

In my magazine I will show a variety of different techniques which can be used to catch carp such as different rigs, bait and tactics. I intend to use a variety of different photo editing techniques. I will design many different page layouts to catch the reader’s attention also using my editing skills to make my magazine stand out from others.

Target Audience? (demographic NOT age range)

My main target audience for my magazine will be carp anglers of any experience level. However anglers in general may well read my magazine as it will include parts for them such as locations of where they may want to fish. Although fishing is dominated by males my magazine may be of interest to females as well.

Target Audience Needs?

My target audience will need to be at least an angling or fish enthusiast. They must want to learn about fishing as many parts of my magazine will be informational and educational. I think it is important no matter how experience any angler is that they can still benefit from someone else’sknowledge.

How will your project meet the needs of your target audience? (Make reference to content you think will appeal to your target audience)

My magazine will meet the needs of my target audience as it will give them another person’s take on many confusing questions within the fishing sport. The magazine will help them by giving them tips, tactics and venues that they may never have heard of or see before making their arsenal of fishing knowledge stronger. My magazine may use a wide range of sources in order for me to receive different opinions about the carp fishing scenario. I will include experienced information and beginner tips in my magazine. Some people may want to read my book as they want to learn about the behaviour of different fish. Page designs and mastheads will be mostly green as this resembles weed in lakes which is very popular with anglers as this is where majority of all species of fish are caught. In my magazine I will use striking colours and many different bold text fonts on the front and throughout to attract the reader’s attention. I will create my own professional looking logo which will be the focal point of my front cover and will be very eye catching to the viewer.

What production techniques will you use to realise your project?

The magazine will include pictures of real like scenarios such as lakes and carp caught on the techniques I show to prove they work. I will use different layout techniques to help the reader navigate my magazine; I will split it into sections which will be tips, tactics, venues, location and carp behaviour. The first stage of my production I will need to get all assets for the content of my magazine by researching and creating some myself. The main production of my magazine will be based on putting all of the assets I have gathered onto the pages with the correct design. I will use
