----ndian Ins�tute of Management Ranchi takes ----immense pride in announcing a successful comple�on to its final placement season for the PGDM and PGDHRM batches of 2013-15.

The ins�tute, this year, reached one step ahead in establishing a strong foothold as being one of the premier management ins�tutes in the country. With the placement of its 2013-15 batch, __________________comprising of 152 students __________________from the PGDM batch and __________________42 from the PGDHRM __________________batch, the ins�tute saw a __________________substan�al upward trend in __________________the confidence shown by __________________the industry in the __________________students. A total of 136 __________________companies par�cipated in the campus placements this year. Following the trend with the summer internships ( ), Link Herewe saw a marked increase in the number of first �me

recruiters visi�ng the campus. The ins�tute had the privilege of hos�ng some of the biggest names in the industry, offering some of the most sought a�er profiles to our students. The major in focus were Banking & financial services, Consumer Goods, Strategy & Consul�ng, PSUs and business conglomerates.

The rising trend in placements was corroborated with an increase in the average compensa�on. With the increase in the batch size from 111 to 152 this year, highest amongst the new IIMs established, numbers of companies also increased significantly.

Total of 45 new recruiters visited IIMR this year. Moreover, this year also saw a steep increase in the number of interna�onal offers on campus. The number of PPOs and PPIs also went up by a substan�al number showing a great deal of industry confidence in the students of IIM Ranchi.

At the heart of this achievement, we would like to thank our recruiters, alumni, faculty, staff and all those who have supported and trusted us throughout the placement season.

Stepping into its 5th year, IIM Ranchi successfully completed the Final Placement process for the batch of PGDM 2013-15. The process involved ac�ve par�cipa�on of 106 companies. From the PGDM 2013-15 batch of 152 students, 2 students opted out of the placement process. Prior to the start of the process, lateral placements were conducted for students with prior work-experience of more than 4 years.

IIM Ranchi received excellent response from the industry and a�racted prominent companies from diverse domains.

Brands from various sectors like FMCG, Telecom, Pharma & Healthcare, Automo�ve, Mass media, Ecommerce, etc. recruited in bulk from the ins�tute. The profiles offered included Digital Marke�ng, Media Marke�ng, e-Commerce, Interna�onal marke�ng and the like. The year saw first-�me recruiters such as Hewle�-Packard, Future Group and Bajaj Corp while enhancing the rela�onship with regular recruiters like Becton Dickinson, RPG Group,Hero Motocorp and HT Media.

----- -IM Ranchi has been able to maintain its ------------dominant posi�on in Finance domain, with the likes of prominent Investment Banks and Asset Management Companies offering roles to our students. The much coveted AVP posi�on in Corporate Finance was offered for the first �me on our campus. One of the biggest financial services firm extended their leadership role to our students with rota�on across businesses such as Private equity, Investment Banking, Ins�tu�onal equity, Asset Management and Corporate Planning.

The Finance sector represented by various firms’ showed con�nued interest with nearly 16% of the total offers coming from this sector.

With close to 24% of overall offers, a substan�al number of students bagged roles in this domain.
