The company started twenty years ago in Rosario under the fantasy name of C&V Group and then as Implantes SRL. At the beginning, started with the representation of Smith&Nephew company, a World Wide Enterprise in Orthopedics and Health Business.

The company started with two partners: Horacio Celoria and his cousin, Gustavo Vergara

Smith&Nephew: With his headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee, USA and branches in Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, United Kingdom, Malaysia and China. They manufacture and develop Orthopedic Implants and Clinical Therapy products.

Heraeus Medical: With his headquarters in Hanau near Frankfurt in Germany. Heraeus Medical is one division of Heraeus Global. This division is responsible for manufacturing Cement Bone and accessories. This company and his products are rated as the best on his field Worldwide.

Van Straten Medical: Company headquartered in Netherland, they manufacture the CCI Evolution Ankle, a revolutionary ankle prosthesis.

Medartis: With his headquarter in Aarau, Switzerland. They manufacture Plates and Screw in Titanium, for maxillofacial and small bones.

Representations

The headquarters of Implantes SRL are in Rosario, with a small branch in Buenos Aires. In the last 3 year we had an exponential growing.

Our sales are reaching the 3.6 million dollars, in comparation with the 1.2 millions in 2006. All this with only 27 employees in Argentina.

In 2008 we close contract with Heraeus Medical. In 2009 we did the same with Van Straten Medical and Medartis.

To date, we have 8 distributors across the country. In Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay, one on each of one. Our role is to be a wholesale distribution channel for companies we represent.

Kleos.md

Our mother company (as we call it) have a division called Kleos, who is responsible for education for both, Doctors and Distributors.This division has been developed worldwide and in Argentina, every day is gaining more importance. Kleos and Implantes SRL, organize courses and seminars for doctors and distributors, are usually performed on cadavers, where doctors can practice new surgical techniques.

Objectives

Our portfolio is targeted at two groups of the public.RECON: (reconstruction) for those patients suffering from pathological condition such as severe alterations in the joints.TRAUMA: for those patients who have suffered a trauma that they have caused broken bones.

This is the slogan of Smith-Nephew which we join in Implantes SRL.
