Personally, I thought that trying to find a person to play the role of my main character was difficult as my chosen topic is sensitive and controversial. Also, most of the people I know do not fit the characteristics of my main character/artist. However, Jeannette Macdonald slightly fits this character, as I would not consider her as a very ‘girly’ female as she is very simple, hardworking and can take any role. In addition, she has a brother which will help her know and study masculine mannerism and how guys move as her role is to play a lesbian character who hides her identity to a boy’s body then at the end, she will reveal her true sexuality.

I have chosen Ellen Proctor to play a key character part in my Music Video as her personality and characteristics meet the criteria for the part. She’s very bubbly and easy to instruct and direct. Also, her dark blonde/brunette hair fits the criteria, as it will show the difference between her and a blonde character that will steal her boyfriend in the Music Video. Her characteristics show an innocent character, which is perfect for the part, as I want the audience to feel sympathy for her situation.

I have chosen Callum Mcgachen to play a typical ‘playboy’ as I feel that he fits the looks of the character I am trying to portay. Though he has not had any acting experience, he takes instructions very well therefore it won’t be a challenge to work with him.

Jennifer Creek has not had any acting background therefore it was something new for her but I thank her for playing this role. She’s a very easy person to construct therefore she will not be hard to work with. Her characteristics also fits the character that I want her to portray though she’s not a ‘girly girl’ in reality,
