June 9, at 20:00h in Amfiteatre romà, Tarragona. Included in EMCHIE registration fee.

Guided visit to Tarragona city

June 10. Meeting point at 20:30h in Portal del Roser. Duration: 2h aprox. Included in EMCHIE registration fee.

In Roman times, the city was named Tarraco and was capital of the province of Hispania Tarraconensis. The Roman ruins of Tarraco have been designated a world heritage site by Unesco. We will start the visit at Portal del Roser. It is situated about 8 minutes by foot from Campus Catalunya (map).

June 11. Centre Tarraconense at 21:00h. Cost: 100€ (included in EMCHIE Category: Regular fee+Conference dinner and Student fee+Conference dinner).

Visit to a "colla Castellera Xiquets de Tarragona" (human towers)
