HISTORY

Page 3: Final site analysis

-Lembah Bujang was a central port which served as a trade center for traders dominating the trading routes between the eastern and western countries-The first port in southeast Asia via its sea route which functioned as an alternative route

The route to China was too long to sail and the monsoon arrived. Heavy rainfall and devastating hurricanes are dangerous at sea. Their ships could go down and they had to wait until the monsoon was over.

Why Lembah Bujang was a central port?

The surrounding of museum are more crowded as the museum is the main public space which act as gallery and gathering point.

The spots near the candi are less crowded as the pathway to the candi spot are quite distance away from the museum and due to the sloppy path road.
