FAQ’sWhen and where do you perform the Bridal trial and is that money credited toward the final balance? The trial is performed at the HOME studio of Veronica Sitterding in Woodstock, GA. All services are a-la-carte so the trial stands on its own. If you wish to move forward with booking, there is a deposit and contract completed after the trial and the deposit paid is deducted from the total due for the wedding day. Please bring cash or check to pay for your trial and deposit.

Can you book a wedding without a trial? Bridal trials are a requirement. This is for your peace of mind and protection. The trial is the time to play with ideas and see how the makeup and hair you envision looks on you. This ensures we are able to make your day as seamless and easy as possible.

What is the typical length of the trial and can anyone request a trial?The trial typically lasts about 2 hrs given the discussion of looks and pictures taken to document the trial. The trial speed is largely determined by your preparedness with images and ideas so we can visualize your look.

We invite family, bridesmaids, and any additional attendants to join you in your trial as well as engage in a trial themselves.

Do we travel for weddings and is there a distance restriction?YES! We are 100% on location and equipped to travel to you. There is no travel limit but please note that if the travel is more than 2 hrs 1 way, we might require lodging accommodations be made if the call time is before 9am the day of the wedding. A travel fee will also be applied and based on location.

What kind of makeup and lashes do you use? This is an area that will separate us from all other vendors. All of our makeup is prestige brand and specifically made for High Definition (HD). This is important because HD Makeup is created to translate on camera exactly as it looks in person. We have all experienced the dreaded picture where the face looks lighter than the rest of the body. This is a result of the flash/bounce back into the camera because of the ingredients in the makeup used. HD makeup was created to prevent this and mimic skin on camera. It is imperative that your Artist use HD makeup for your pictures on this day. This can single handedly ruin the investment that you make in your professional pictures. This is a mistake that you cannot afford to make because of the inability to duplicate the event. Given our strong background in brand and product knowledge we make the necessary investment into our kits to ensure our clients are always HD ready. investment into our kits to ensure our clients are always HD ready.

A conversation will be had during the trial as to what type of lashes will be the best fit for you. We offer individual cluster, strip, and hand cut lashes; what you receive is based on your lashes and the desired look. There is no additional charge for this VIP service! We are also familiar with working with lash extensions so if you plan on using them day of, this is not a problem. Just let us know at the trial.

Do you work with different ethnicities and skin types for hair and makeup? YES! As evidenced by our website. We specialize in makeup for all races, ages, and skin types. This is our area of expertise and what we are known for.

Do you work with hair extensions and is there an additional charge for this?YES! We are used to working with hair extensions and we do not charge an additional fee for this. If you bring your own extensions, we can place them in your hair and style it with said extensions. If you would like to get extensions specific for the wedding, your Hair Artist can go over your options with you at the trial. There is an additional fee for purchase or rental of extensions from your hair artist.

How long will it take to get the Bride and Bridal Party ready?On average, it takes 30-45 minutes for each service per person. There are times it could take more or less time. Instances of this could be a client with problematic skin, longer hair, thick hair, shorter hair, client requests to not have lashes, etc. Timing will be solidified before the wedding with you and the artist.

How long will my makeup and hair last? We have had so many clients tell us they loved their makeup so much they didn’t want to wash it off…so they didn’t! The traditional makeup that we use is outstanding and the airbrush makeup used has a 18 hr wear. We also use primers, sweat resistant cream, and setting spray to ensure your makeup will NOT MOVE! We train extensively and are constantly doing continuing education with regard to makeup and hair. Your hair will feel secure and stay secure even through a night of dancing! We have yet to have a Bride report that her makeup and hair did not make it through the night. The proof is in the reviews!
