IntroductionO A microcontroller and the medical shield will
be use to develop the Health Monitoring Companion for home-used.
O Four different sensors measuring different parameter for each one of them includes :-1. Temperature Sensors2. Pulse oximeter3. Electrocardiogram4. Galvanic Skin Response
3
Problem StatementO About 90% of the authority did not
taking serious about their medical condition based on AARP , American Association of Retired Persons.
O Majority of the elderly , old folks , OKU unable to have a medical checkup at the clinics/hospitals.
4
ObjectivesO To create a society that taking
seriously about their medical condition.
O To develop a user-interface/medical assistant to help maintaining medical condition for home-used.

Literature ReviewTitle Smart homes and home health monitoring technologies
for older adults
Author Lili Liu,Eleni Stroulia ,Antonio Miguel-Cruz ,Adriana Rios Rincon
Years April 18, 2016Summary (1) the levels of technology readiness among older
adults and, (2) evidence for smart homes and home-based health-monitoring technologies that support aging in place for older adults who have complex needs.
Comparison The level of technology readiness for smart homes and home health monitoring technologies is still low
6
Literature ReviewTitle Wireless sensor networks for personal health monitoring:
Issues andan implementation
Author Aleksandar Milenkovic , Chris Otto , Dr. Emil Jovanov
Years 2006
Summary Discussing on the importance of the technology of medical assistant at home using EEG , EMG and ECG sensors developed into wireless network configurations.
Comparison Article focused on the issues and the implementation around the society.
7
Result & AnalysisO Based on the article review :
1. Home Monitoring Companion are essential for elderly who stays at home.
2. Importance of taking care of medical condition
3. Society should be aware the benefits of taking care of their health.
