POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Financial Analyst, you are responsible for the financial reporting and accounting activities of Navacord Head Office, a Canadian-owned brokerage, which consists of several insurance broker partners spanning across Canada. You will report to our Finance Director and will also be supporting Finance on key strategic priorities, such as acquisitions and system conver- sions. FINANCIAL ANALYST KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial pro- cess, reporting, and requirements, coordinating with all Navacord partners as required Closing of financial reporting cycle Working with businesses on other external systems and bringing them together with rest of Navacord’s financial process Financial consolidation of P&L and Balance Sheet Find and implement efficiencies in reporting process Review and process Navacord expenses and allocation of costs to business partners Support in the management of Navacord cash flow Monthly reconciliation of intercompany and quarterly settlements Technical Accounting—acquisition accounting and integration of Financial Reporting into Navacord Main contact as the contact for finance/accounting function in configuration and conversion of EPIC and onboarding newly acquired businesses Develop/Refine EPIC reports that help with reporting and decision making Support Finance in ad hoc analysis and other strategic priorities REPORTING TO: Finance Director REQUIREMENTS: University degree (in Finance or Accounting) or equivalent work experience CPA an asset Experience in private company or enterprise audit an asset 3+ years finance and technical accounting back- ground Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced envi- ronment Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ambitious and hardworking

FINANCIAL ANALYST

REQUIREMENTS:

CPA an asset

Experience in private company or enterprise audit

ronment

Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, proficient with

Microsoft PowerPoint and Word

Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication

skills
