Finding Nemo Handprint Art
Materials Needed:
Blank piece of paper
Markers
Googly Eye (or black marker to draw an eye)
Steps:
1. Put your blank piece of paper in front of you. Make sure it is laying horizontal (long
way).
2. Use a blue marker to draw a wavy line at the top of the paper.

3. At the bottom of the paper, use a green marker to draw seaweed. You can draw all
kinds of lines (wavy or straight) that go up and down!
4. Turn your paper so it is sideways and place your hand in the middle of the paper.

5. Use an orange marker to trace your hand.
6. Color in your hand.
7. Put a dot of glue onto the back of the googly eye. Put the google eye onto the front of
your handprint. You can also use a black marker to draw a circle as an eye.

8. Next, draw a little mouth below the eye.

9. Use a black marker to draw stripes up and down. You can add as many stripes as you
want!

Counting – have your child count the number of stripes they add to their Nemo craft
