FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHER
Ed Cooley Award winning photographer Ed Cooley makes his home in the rust ic Ozark Mountain region of Northwest Arkansas. His unique perspect ive captured in inspir ing v is ions of the untainted landscape are breathtaking.
Love of nature, natural inst inct and relent less pursui t of the perfect shot is evident throughout his work.
Ed’s f ine art landscape images and photographic exhibi ts have earned cr i t ical acclaim with 22 internat ional photography awards in 2011.
After years as a sof tware engineer, entrepreneur and fami ly man, Ed returned to his love of nature. He taught himsel f photography to share the wonderful locat ions he and his wi fe, Fai th, were v is i t ing. As his technical ski l ls progressed, so did his passion for art ist ical ly captur ing natural scenery. Over several years Ed spent more and more t ime explor ing beaut i fu l locat ions local ly and around the country.
A near fatal accident, a lone in the Arkansas wi lderness, fo l lowed by a harrowing rescue and six months in rehabi l i tat ion would be a turning point in Ed’s l i fe. He now travels wor ldwide photographing nature’s most beaut i fu l and dramat ic scenery.
White River Gal lery exhibi ts l imi ted edi t ion pr ints represent ing the best photographs from Ed’s col lect ion of over 500,000 images.

For the Beauty of the Earth . . .
Limited Edit ion Fine Art PrintsThere are f leet ing moments when the elements of l ight , weather, p lants and earth come together in unique ways to create stunning scenery wi th incredible power, emot ion and color. The spectacle may last for several minutes or a few glor ious seconds. Exper iencing these events does something special for a l l of us. Whether we view i t l ive or in a photograph the sensat ion can be exhi larat ing.
Captur ing these moments in an art ist ic photograph is the chal lenge of a l i fet ime. On his photo expedi t ions Ed ventures out hours before dawn, in almost any weather, in search of subjects for h is camera. He may hike mi les, dr ive for hours, and sometimes both hoping to catch something special . More of ten than not he returns af ter dark empty handed. Occasional ly “magic happens” and a one-of-a-kind photograph is captured. Out of thousands only one or two photographs are worthy of considerat ion as a f ine art pr int .
Fine artwork is sold in l imi ted quant i t ies making them more exclusive than standard or open edi t ion pr ints which have no l imi ts on product ion. As the pieces in the edi t ion sel l the value appreciates incremental ly. This cont inues unt i l the image sel ls out which increases the value substant ia l ly. This l imi ted avai labi l i ty helps protect the investment you make in your work of ar t .
In recent years, f ine art photography (especial ly nature photographs) has gained wide acceptance with col lectors, investors, ar t brokers and auct ion f i rms. There is something special about a wel l craf ted landscape photograph and exclusive f ine art pr ints have become a popular way to invest in them.
Fine art pr ints are sold in two ways: 1) Limited Edi t ions wi th a total of 100 pr ints avai lable. The f i rst 10 pieces in the edi t ion are sold at issue pr ice providing a cost effect way to purchase your artwork before i t appreciates. 2) Art ist Proofs sold in edi t ion s izes of 10 appeal to col lectors desir ing a more exclusive piece.
Each pr int is indiv idual ly s igned and numbered by the art ist . A cert i f icate of authent ic i ty val idat ing your purchase is provided with each pr int . Art ists Proofs also include a plaque with informat ion about the photograph and a CPA audi ted cert i f icate of authent ic i ty.
Artwork you hang on your wal l is a statement of indiv idual taste and we are honored that you would consider our l imi ted edi t ion pr ints. We invi te you to jo in our fami ly of col lectors enjoying the f ine art photographs of Ed Cooley in their home or off ice.

Col lector Edi t ion pr ints present rare displays of nature uniquely represent ing Ed’s art ist ic v is ion.
Displaying the most discr iminat ing work in his port fo l io, these select images are avai lable in exclusive edi t ion s izes of 10 or less.
“One af ternoon I was enjoying the sol i tude of a Br ist lecone Pine forest . These trees, growing above 10,000 feet in the White Mountains of Cal i fornia, are the oldest l iv ing th ings on the planet. They survive for thousands of years through drought, f i re and the most extreme condi t ions in the lower 48 states.
I was at t racted to wavy patterns burned into one of the t ree t runks f rom wi ldf i res ear l ier that year. I d idn’ t not ice the female form unt i l I looked through the viewf inder f raming this shot. I st i l l recal l my jaw dropping in amazement as I pressed the camera shutter.
Reminiscent of an impressionist ic nude, th is image typi f ies the art ist ic almost f l i r t ing beauty of our natural wor ld. We are granted unbel ievable v is ions that last for a moment or season then are lost forever.”

“The Outback is a vast desert in the heart of Austral ia. Cal led the Red Centre, i t is an ar id wasteland where even the heart iest p lants struggle to survive.
Things were di f ferent th is summer - very di f ferent. The area received more rain than had fal len in over 100 years. This barren, red desert had became a lush
prair ie wi th green plants and golden grass contrast ing against the red sand.
I ’ l l never forget th is moment f ly ing 300 feet above ground in a smal l hel icopter. We approached this ancient seabed cal led Lake Amadeus and i t was ful l of
water! As I captured the spectacle of these shapes and colors I could not help but wonder how beaut i fu l l i fe here would have been in a di f ferent t ime.”
