How can we build a Breastfeeding Friendly Scotland and why is it important? We want to bring people together and start conversations about why it is important to build a Scotland that values and supports breastfeeding and how it could be achieved. We hope that these conversations will help spark change and mean that all parents have the support they need when their new baby arrives. To help achieve this we want to hear from people of all ages about what a breastfeeding friendly Scotland would look like for them and their community and to share ideas about how they think we could make it happen. Come along to join the conversation and share your thoughts. 27-01-2020 @ 10:00 - 13:00 Central Hall in the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Argyle Street, Glasgow

If these questions interest you, please join us for an experimental hour of discovery about collaboration and working across silos. We will be focusing in a new way on the five ways of working from the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act, and providing a reflective space from which to step into action.

Flourish! A local economy board game Flourish! Is a new game that allows participants to explore a different kind of local economy. One in which economic decisions support a post-growth society in which people can lead healthy, fulfilling lives – in which they can flourish. This board game for 6 players and a host is designed to explore how players can develop ‘Sharetown’ to be a more equitable and participatory place. To do so they move away from purely financial measures of success to focus instead on how rich our communities are in 5 specific factors; agency, connection, trust, security and meaning. 14-02-2020 @ 15:00 - 18:30 Ivor House, Bridge Street, Cardiff, Little Man Coffee Unleashing the Power of Diversity – an evening with Bjørn Z Ekelund Norwegian psychologist, facilitator and developer of the Diversity Icebreaker Bjørn Z Ekelund is visiting Scotland in February and we are excited to welcome him to Edinburgh for this one-off free evening event. . The Icebreaker is an experiential learning module of 60 – 90 minutes that can be used in seminars, both as a starting point and also as an OD intervention in its own right. It creates positivity, trust, creativity and a learning mode of curiosity and dialogue – a great way to get workshops, conversations and team development to start in a useful way. It also co-creates a language of cognitive diversity relevant for interpersonal interaction and problem solving, helping participants to see what’s useful and valuable in their colleagues. 19-02-2020 @ 19:00 - 20:30 Melting Pot, 5 Rose Street, Edinburgh
