Cascade Youth and Family Center’s “LOFT” focuses on prevention, intervention, and crisis services for adolescents and their families. It’s the sole provider of a comprehensive spectrum of services targeted to work with runaway, homeless, and throwaway youth in Deschutes County. They provide emergency shelter and counseling, work to reunite youth with their families, strengthens family relationships, encourages stable living conditions for youth, and supports youth in choosing constructive courses of action, toward education completion and employment. The LOFT utilizes a Positive Youth Development strategy which involves both youth and families in the decision-making process. We believe long- term positive results depend on the empowerment of youth and their families and the support of existing assets. How can we all help? Drop off locations are at any First American Title offices in Deschutes County, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday. (See the addresses below)

Did you know? In 2012 LOFT provided: 124 runaway youth accessed 934 nights of emergency shelter

43 youth experiencing homelessness accessed 3,328 nights of shelter 8,410 street youth contacts, 342 referrals, 601 hygiene/supplies distributed, and

903 food/drink packages distributed during outreach 4,759 hotline calls were received from families and youth in crisis
