FAREWELL OPEN HOUSE Pastor Bob and Nancy will be com-pleting 9 years of ministry at Frist Baptist Church in January. We have been blessed by them in so many ways. We will honor them with an open house to celebrate what God has done in and through their ministry and look forward to what God will do as they transition into a new phase of life. Please join us for cake, coffee, memories, hugs and laughter. Sunday, JAN 11, 3pm to 6pm with a program at 4pm.

WOMEN’S BOOK CLUB The Women’s Book Club will be read-ing “Life Along The Silk Road” by Susan Whitfield for our next book. We meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month in the church library at 7pm. Any women interested are invited to read the book and come JAN 13.
ADULT ED CLASS - JOURNEY Is there freedom in the book “Laws of Happiness” by Dr. Cloud? TODAY we will be using session 6 as Dr. Cloud unlocks the final key of Law of Happi-ness using his own father’s life as an example. Do we daily depend upon God? If you have been attending this study you do not want to miss this last session; however, if your class is not meeting TODAY, come. It could make you think or you may decide to use this study later. All are welcome! It could change how you plan for the New Year.

MISSION PRAYER TIME Join us for prayer time Mondays at 9:30am in room #202.
PRAYER GATHERING There will be NO prayer gathering on DEC 24 or 31. Prayer gathering will resume on Wednesday, JAN 7.
WEDNESDAY PRAYER FOCUS The weekly issues of the Prayer Focus are available in an acrylic holder at the end of the mailboxes, lower level.
CHILDRENS CHURCH Children (age 5 - grade 2) are dismissed from the 9:45am & 11am service and brought to the Children’s Ministry room to learn the love of Jesus through object lessons. Children are picked up by their parents after the service.
PARENT CHILD ROOM Located outside the multi-purpose room by the west stairwell, parents are welcome to use the room to care for crying babies, feed infants, change diapers, etc. A privacy curtain can be pulled for nursing.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT SUPPER Wednesday night suppers are done for this year. They resume JAN 14.
FAITH COMMUNITY NURSING Our Faith Community Nurse this week is Jane Sommars. To contact her call the office.
WALKERS AND WHEELCHAIRS We have walkers and wheel chairs available through our church’s Con-gregational Care Center. Call the office for an appointment so you can be fitted with the right size for you!
CANES NEEDED We are in need of 3 or 4 canes (adjustable ones preferred). Bring them in to the church office.

STORM POLICY If Sunday church services and/or Sunday School are cancelled due to excessive snow or inclement weath-er, the decision will be made by 5am Sunday morning. If Wednesday pro-grams are cancelled, the decision will be made by 2pm on Wednesday. Cancellations will be communicated on the church’s voice mail system, website, Facebook, outdoor sign and through a First Link message that will be sent to everyone in our database with email. Call the church office at 763-689-1173 or check online for church event cancellations.
