Reminders/Announcements Dear Parents, First grade teachers will start administering DRA (running records) to determine your child’s reading level, this week.
Allen Pond Picnic will be June 6th – 10AM – 1:30 PM. Our grade 1 team can use parent volunteers .All volunteers must have their background checked and finger printed. (click the link) More information about the Allen Pond’s Picnic will be available soon. Finally, scroll down for other important reminders and events happening at Northview.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Northview Elementary School will be hosting Career Day on May 31, 2013 from 8:00a.m. – 10:00a.m. The purpose of Career Day is to familiarize students with a wide variety of career opportunities. A particular focus is to reinforce to students the importance of good work habits, daily attendance in school and how acquiring basic skills can put them on the road to obtaining a career.
Presenters will be asked to speak to two or three classes for up to 20 minutes each about the training and education needed in order to obtain a particular career. Please bring literature, demonstrations or other interesting tools that assist you in your career.
A continental breakfast will be provided from 7:30 – 8:00 a.m.
