Sunday Evening Bible StudyHow much do you really know about the United Methodist Church? Do you have questions? Are you looking for answers? Come and join us, starting on January 14, at 6:00 pm, for our next study, “United Meth-odist Questions, United Methodist Answers - Exploring our Christian Faith”. This study, based on Rev. F. Belton Joyner’s book by the same title, introduces us to key United Methodist beliefs and practices through a contiguous chain of questions and answers.
It does not matter if you are a lifelong Methodist or the newest member of the congregation, this study is for everyone with questions about the United Methodist Church. Bring your Bibles and join me in the Nova SS Classroom, for this informa-tive and sometimes humorous study.Rev. Rex RogersAssociate Pastor
New Ladies StudyThe Linda Roberts SS Class invites any lady who is interested in studying “The 10 Second Rule – Fol-lowing Jesus Made Simple”, by Clare DeGraaf to join them during the Sunday School hour at 9:30, beginning January 7. The 6-week study gives prac-tical principles for having a more vibrant Christian walk. Jamie Breeden (368-5836) will be leading the study in Room 151. If you would like to purchase the book for $8, please contact Pam Cox at 405-7973. We hope you will join us!

THANK YOU!!!Blessings to all who gave money, clothing, baked goods, etc., to our Henderson Settle-ment Project. Thanks to your generosity $7,717 was raised! Special thanks to John Huffman, once again, for the use of his truck and trailer to transport many items for the settlement’s Thrift store. It was loaded!!! On Wednesday, December 6, five folks made the trip and had the opportunity to give out wrapping paper and scotch tape as parents selected toys for their children. It is a blessing to be able to share God’s love with the folks in Appalachia!

“Sneak-a-Peek”
On Saturday, January 13, you are invited to join us in the Green Room at 11:00
am. “IF” you define yourself as a senior citizen, you are welcome to come. Age is irrelevant, you decide what you are!
We will discuss and share about an event we are planning for our SCM (Senior
Citizens Ministry) on February 18. We also want to discuss future options. Our Triple S Agenda:
• Soup (come hungry) • Survey (for choices) • Suggestions (for ideas)
The soup will be provided, just bring yourself and be thinking of suggestions and
ideas for possible activities.
Cindy Murphy, Karen Gourley & Janet Bledsoe have already ruled out: • Roller skating • Jump Jam • Mud Wrestling • Wheel Chair Races • Water Skiing
But, we could go sky diving or duct tape Ty and hide him in a closet somewhere!
You get to choose!
If you want to be part of this ministry, please sign up and join us on Saturday, January 13, 2018! If you are unable to attend, but have ideas, please contact one
of the ladies mentioned above. Let’s fill up the Green Room!!!
