Fish Dishes All our fish is locally Sourced and supplied fresh by our fish mongers Scampi. A Real Pub Favourite. Fresh Scampi dusted in seasoned flour and coated in our famously light beer batter then gently deep fried until crisp and golden served with our own creamy tartar sauce and Lemon Wedge. Baked Haddock. Fresh Haddock sprinkled with paprika and lightly baked in a drizzling of butter until soft then served with a creamy prawn, lobster ad white wine Sauce with a garnish of fresh rocket and a lemon wedge. The Whale. Fresh 8-10oz haddock coated in seasoned flour then deep fried in our own light beer batter and cooked until crisp served with mushy peas and our famous homemade chips accompanied by our own creamy tartar and a wedge of lemon. Totally British, Totally Delicious. For The Vegetarian. Specially prepared here at The Buck by our chef’s Chef’s Cheese & Onion Pie. Packed to the rafters with red Leicester, Creamy Lancashire and Mature Cheddar Cheese with red Onion encased in a rich short crust butter pastry and served with a creamy cheese sauce. Mushroom Stroganoff. Fresh closed cup white mushrooms and red onions flambéed in brandy and white wine then finished with a generous spoonful of French Mustard and paprika in a cream sauce
