These high-pressure valves areextremely rugged, single-port, cage-guided globe and angle valves forapplications in power, refining,hydrocarbon, chemical, and otherindustries.Select from several flowcharacteristics and trimtypes...linear, equal percentage,Micro-Flow, Micro-Flute, Cavitrol® IIItrim and Whisper Trim® III noise-attenuating trim.

For Low-FlowRequirements... Micro-Flute andMicro-Flow valve plugs provideexcellent control for applicationsrequiring a maximum C

Cavitating Liquids... Two- andthree-stage Cavitrol III trims caneliminate cavitation noise anddamage in a valve that has beensized for the flow conditions. Thetrim is normally used wherepressure drop is up to 149 bar fortwo-stage and 207 bar for threestage trim.

Liquid passes through cage orificesin each stage, undergoing a portionof the total required pressure drop.This partial pressure drop in eachstage of a properly sized valvenormally prevents the liquidpressure from falling to or below itsvapor pressure, eliminating theformation of vapor bubbles.

Theorifices break up turbulent fluidstreams, reducing noise-producinginteractions. The limit switch box can beinstalled on the actuator to holdproximity or microswitches, whichcan turn on an alarm or displaydevice when a pre-set limit isreached. Additional microswitchesare available.

The device has separate cams foropen and closed positions, andadjustment of one cam does notaffect the other.
